I'm in serious trouble...

flyingfinnflyingfinn Posts: 8,408 Arc User
Some of you, or no one, may have been wondering where is that awesomly spectaculiar FlyingFinn.
For awhile now, like 2, 3 months or was it more like half a year, i haven't been playing CO. May have dropped in just couple of times for a quickie.

And the reason for that is, i have lost totally pretty much all of my previous interest towards computer gaming.
I mean, i have serious problem. I've lost the fun and the feeling of something awesome.
All i do is work, work, work. ****.

Guess i have to start planning having 2.5 kids, a stationwagon, a dog and some other **** that grown up mature people have.

But enjoy the friggin summer, *other*uckers.

I haven't figured out how to have .5 kids yet, so I'm stuck at 2.

No. The whole 2.5 children thing means that Americans mostly prefer having families with either 2 or 3 children. No one ever said to their spouse "Honey, let's have two children and a fetus for the rest of our lives."
  • flyingfinnflyingfinn Posts: 8,408 Arc User
    ^ what he said.
2.5 is the average number of children per family. :#
Whole minivans and dogs and *hit is the definition of "ordinary", average family.
Somehow i expected something nowhere near "ordinary" average family makings here..

Maybe i'll try that "2 whole and one fetus" line one day.

Oh look you wrote a dumb thing because you don't know what the word "yet" means.

Oh gosh, you're right. When people say they want 2.5 kids, they're planning for a nine month period in the rest of their lives. I'm so silly. Fact is no one says they want 2.5 kids with any amount of seriousness. It's an averaged number in a statistic.

You were wrong and trying to poke holes in a dumb joke I made doesn't make you any less wrong than you were. Now just sit there and wallow in how wrong you were because you were so wrong.

PS- Not to put too fine a point on it, but you were wrong. Wrong like world hunger and Zardoz's costume. Wrong like near-beer. Wrong like fanny packs. Wrong like macaroni with no cheese. Wrong like capri pants. Wrong like gluten-free vegetarian pizza. Wrong like socks with sandals. Wrong like some dork who thinks 2.5 children means one of them isn't born yet.

    Wooooo... I'm almost done laughing.

    Okay I'm good now. :D

You fool, all those extra things will just weigh you down when the fetus zombie apocalypse comes.

    Zardoz's

You just had to bring Zardoz into this didn't you(and zardoz was the name of the big floating head god btw, not the name of the main character who wears that fantastic orange hotpants/harness combo, but I'm sure you probably knew that.) Darn now I wanna watch that movie again..it is a only a shame that the entire film isn't nearly as interesting as the beginning...

Durrr *sound of pooping pants* :D

I was actually clearing this up for you, the part where you thought I was saying something about an eternal fetus. It seems that in your desperation to quickly type up a response you forgot to understand what you were responding to!

"Honey, let's have two children and a fetus for the rest of our lives."

Word of advice, the more desperate you are to look smarter than others, the dumber you'll look.

Nothing is as wrong as gluten-free vegetarian pizza. Not even someone who can't understand a dumb joke about half a kid.

    Fetus, don't fail me now!

It's so funny watching you squirm around trying to deflect you being wrong at anything I say.

I get exactly what you were saying. The part that you don't get is that what I said was a joke, not meant to be taken seriously, and quite obviously hyperbolized. Of course I don't think you really thought there was some kind of perpetual fetus scenario happening. The fact that I have to explain this to you, though, makes this whole thing even more side-splitting.

This is the most hilarious case of "Oh, I was wrong? Instead of just saying 'my bad' I'll try to make it look like Biff was wronger about something!" you've come up with to date. :D

Actually, no, I didn't know that.

@spinnytop take notes, this is how you Internet without ego. :D

Anyway I think I saw the movie .5 times <--relevant
and it was like 10 years ago, and I can hardly remember the street I live on, so sue me! Now I wanna watch it so I can reference it properly without being such a poser!

That phrase doesn't even make sense....

What, the .5 children part? It goes back to some census or poll or whatever that asked people what the ideal number of children for a family to have is. Now, I'm making up the numbers, but the majority preferred either two or three children. Like say, 35% of people polled said two children, and another 35% said three children. Then 12% said one or none, and the other 19% said four or more is ideal. So the most popular results are tied between 2 and 3 children, and the simplest way to show that is saying 2.5 children. So when people talk about living an ideal family life, with the cute house with the white picket fence and a minivan to take the kids' soccer team to a pizza party, they usually add the 2.5 children phrase to it.

Now, you may have noticed that those numbers I gave there add up to 101% and you're wondering if I'm just bad at math or plain stupid (yes). But the fact is that someone out there is lying and I intend to get to the bottom of it!!!

If you meant the Mountain Dew thing, then yes I agree. :p
