Device Guide/Pointers?

For the longest time, I haven't really used any sort of devices on my characters. This is due in part to simply not having any worthwhile devices, but also because I felt using wanton devices added an unnecessary easiness the game, as most content I played was easily soloable as is. However, with the advent of TA and the Cosmic reworking, I find myself falling short overall. Conversely, I don't wish to really alter my build, but instead finally give in and grab some nice devices to work into my builds.

However, I have absolutely no idea which devices are "Good". Which do I use, and when? I also don't really want to add anything too theme-breaking for my characters, at least in terms of summoning entities (so probably not gonna use Tsaur Pheromones). Is there already a guide that points out exactly which devices do what, which are better for what circumstance, etc? If not, then why hasn't anyone made one yet?!

permanent devices are generally good to have. Some are things you have to acquire by massacring armies of enemy things. I recently acquired a permanent device for summoning a Lemurian construct.

While I do not know every device off the top of my head, Drifter has a great many for sale if you have some Drifter salvage (and you can buy boxes of Drifter salvage on the exchange if you need some).

And speaking of the exchange, some devices are probably there just waiting for a buyer.
Most are self-explanatory, at least in regards to what they do.

Between that and the name of the device you might get a pretty good idea about whether or not they will work with your concepts.
