TK Blades Skins (Preferrably Katana skin)

I just want to throw it out there that I could really use a TK Blade skin in the shape of a katana. That would do the following:


1.) LOOK BADASS!!!!

2.) Allow me to get my psychic ninja on; while not having to explain why his sword stays sheathed on his back while fighting. With a TK katana he can just whisp it out and back away when needed/ not needed

3.) WOULD LOOK BADASS!!!!!

It would be even more badass if TK blades could into proper damage too.

Yes! IMO, the tk blades skins look a bit goofy... a nice katana would be an excellent addition.

Also... can recoloring the blade please change the power color? I never use TK blades because of the eye-gouging pinkness of it all.

You can recolor the powers through the normal method of recoloring powers. They don't have be pink.

I think they should just add tk versions of all the melee weapons. Z store items or special drops. It cant be that difficult to just reskin whats already in the game

Fun Fact. TK blades used to have a Psychic Katana Skin. It was removed from CO. So yes it would be nice to get that back.

That is what I would like. Even imaginary weapons.

They gain a bonus from EGO like melee weapons do for STR. However that bonus is so horrifically low now that it may as well not exist (it's around...30 points of damage at best IIRC).

Basically what needs to happen is that they need to be empowered again, cause right now it's a hot mess.

The problem with the TK power set is that the powers actual function is tied to the VFX (weapon model), so new versions of each weapon would likely have to be copied into the TK Melee stuff to be doable, even then...there's likely to be complications.

Power FX doesn't necessarily line up with weapon geo FX, so it would probably take quite a bit of work to do. (Also they'd have to figure out a way to work it into what they have planned already).

Yeah, something tells me it was accidentally removed (or perhaps not so accidentally removed). But either way the damage is quite low and usually relies on defense debuffs to reach higher levels of damage which...really it shouldn't.

I hope that with the power revisions we're seeing. Hopefully TK Blades will see a buff.

From my experience with TK Blades, TK Blade powers scale with Ego to some degree. However, it isn't as pronounced as other Melee powers scaling with Strength. Part of me thinks that this was done because some of TK Blade powers have some neat tricks (Ego Weaponry's Critical Hit Bonus w/ Ego leech and Ego Blade Breach's debuff), but the point still stands.
