Hidden Cape

This would be a small, unmoving rectangle situated inside the character's chest, where it can never be seen. You can set the pattern, material, and colors just like any other cape, though you won't be able to see what you're doing.

Why? So that, when Cape Glide looks to see if your costume has a cape, the answer it gets is “yes.” That means, instead of going with the default black, it will copy the pattern, material, and colors of your existing cape.

People will be able to have snazzy-looking capes while gliding, and no cape when walking. You don't have to make the slightest alteration to Cape Glide, just add a costume piece. The costume piece will be dead simple to make too, since it doesn't matter what it actually looks like.

Make “Holo Hex” and “Psi Holo” material options too. That one might require a small update to the model used for Cape Glide, but it would be worth it. It would look like you'd conjured fixed wings made of energy.

Even better, people could use black with the holo materials to get an invisible cape. How long have people been asking for capeless Cape Glide?

Please make the base cape get the psi holo material option so folks can use this power without a visible cape.

Yes please. The Cape glide pose is perfect for those arm-wing things...if only it didn't pop a cape.
