Super Regenerating Hero (max HP/s concept build)

superalfgornsuperalfgorn Posts: 558 Arc User
Hi all, I would like to make a super regenerator as per the title.

The powers might be a mix of Might and Ice (colored pink to look like quartz).

The idea is to tank using the tank role.

So the basic idea is to use Regeneration + other specs and powers that grant HP/s; so far I have settled on:
-Sentinel Aura (sentinel spec)
-BCR
-Resurgence
-Sentinel Mastery
-the STR or REC specs for HP/s

Now I am not sure what to use between the following options for max HP/s:

1) Str+Con+Rec; Enrage+Endorphin Rush for the toggle;

or

2) Rec+Con+Dex; Compassion for the toggle;

Suggestions?

A sample build might be THIS

    Max out health, of course.

    In the Gold Recognition store, there are regeneration core mods for gear now. I don't believe they stack, but throwing one in to your gear would give another chunk of regen.

    You can get much more health with Con primary, plus mods and gear that boosts PSS. Growth mods and Vigilante gear work super well for this.

    From quick PTS testing, the regen cores do stack, though they do it by ticking independently (instead of combining their heal into a larger tick).

    Quick Recovery is pretty weak, but I suppose for taking the concept as far as it can it'd be fitting to have.

    The Str PSS route is better for a melee tank.. although the Compassion route using Con PSS and something like CON/Pres/_ (last SS can be w/e: Dex for more dps, Rec for a bit more equilibrium, Int if using MSA, etc) can work. I'd prob get an EU- MSA if using lunge, BCR, TC, etc.

    Ah, nice.

    By the way, Nanite Swarm with the advantage provides yet another HoT, and is a good power if you have things with lots of cooldowns.

    Ah right, I completely forgot the Nanobot Swarm advantage. Good catch.

    Also as regards the cores, I will need to consider them once I get to 40, if I do not tire earlier...

    I will go the Compassion route, with CON PSS, but I can skip PRE since Compassion scales off REC as does MSA (even thopugh I know INT would be much better).

    Right now the projected build is:

    For the concept it looks okay, though as a tank it will be very low dps, I imagine.

    Ice Burst isn't really needed if ur up close to use TClap on cd. Holdout Shot's Stim Pack is also a HoT- if ya wanna take that even further.
