Having played around with the ultimate with Aiqa/Lyn, the damage buff does seem miniscule enough for it to be a problem with the intended(?) mechanic and dynamic of the power. I propose to either give Power Chord a different kind of buff, whether that is a +stats bonus, which improves your damage, health, what have you in a more natural way, or... Some other creative means. As is I just struggle to see how that 50%/3.75% will do too much for anyone.

Also, previous suggestions have been similar, with giving Power Chord a bard-like advantage between 2-3 advantage points.
I personally like the sound of applying an "Inspired" buff to allies, making for a cute homage to bards in tabletop games. This could be a lesser version of whatever the finished Power Chord ends up with.

PS - this power looks sweeeeeeeet~!

    Yup agreed on both accounts.

How about instead of innately providing a damage buff...it provides a "sonic" damage shield to self and allies within 25ft?

If you really want to make it interesting, it could be a set value for Self and Others with the Self Portion higher in Hybrid Role and Lower in Support Role:

E.g. Power Chord now applies "Positive Vibrations" to yourself and allies within 25ft. Positive Vibrations buff places a damage shield around you which can absorb up to 3000 points of damage and a damage shield of 1500 points of damage to allies. In support role, you gain a damage shield of 1500 and your allies gain a damage shield of 3000 points. This damage shield will remain until you take damage which exceeds the shield limit.

    BUG:

Sonic Boom weapons on gliders cause your character to animate as if using a breath attack. The Sonic Boom is coming from the vehicle, not the character.

Something similar happens with Flamethrower. The character performs an "invisible flamethrower" animation, though the actual flame emanates from the top left speaker. I'm not sure if the phenomenon is an intentional pantomime, or an unintentionally linked animation.

    BUG:
    • Similar to Hyper Voice, Sonic Boom will consume energy on tap, but deal no damage.

Isn't it supposed to be amplified singing? Those things on the side of the gliders are speaker stacks, aren't they?

    Yeah, I guess they are.
What happens if this weapon ends up on another vehicle?
+3 stacks of the "Hello Cleveland!" debuff, which renders you confused for up to 5 minutes

Ah, this is the issue, then--the new vehicles use breath/cone animations for anything that might use them.
I get why, but I don't think this is a great idea.

The crystal rock aura could use a new animation, as the screenshots above show, it's kind of lame looking with all the rocks simply floating behind the character. I think it would look better if the cystals were moving around the character at least a little bit more.

I definitely support Power Chord doing something team-wise - doesn't feel right for it not to, you know? Even if it does require an advantage and even if it's just adding the buff to others.

Dunno if anyone mentioned yet but...

    BUG:
    • Power Chord doesn't seem to be applying Disorient? It applies 'Daze' for 5-6 seconds? Which doesn't state it reduces damage, at least in the description in the enemy debuff area.

Ah, I see, well, given the type of aura Nocturne Aura is, of course it won't show up on black. Would be hard to make this aura work on dark colors I'm guessing.

Like the Endbringer's Aura from the end of Resistance?

Want to get to know me a bit better, Click me and take a read of My Dragon Profile Page, it's a bit dated but still relevant.

I take this quote from a review that I agree with.

"customisation is so linear; everyone is after the optimal dps:survivability ratio with 0 reliance on other players = autonomous gameplay... Players don't need each other anymore... which in my opinion is a bad thing."

@splosions did you make guitar noises while you made this?

    Airguitar attack

I did not. The audio wasn't in yet, so I had this weird wooshing/squeaking placeholder noise every time I played it, which restricted me to air-guitar levels. :)

Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends
