Anyone remembers which mission or boss drop gives those as a reward? If memory doesn't fail me, it must be dr. Ka, or someone else in Vibora/Vibora Apocalypse...

Afak those are rank 4's, but i clearly remember myself seeing rank 5's as some mission reward...

It's not from any of the MI missions at least, but the Rank 5 special cores as a mission reward do sound familiar.

Rank IVs show up far more frequently than the 5s, but they do show up, 1 in 100 runs or so.​​

I managed to find a Perception Core 5 recently, I was just beating up VIPER in MI and it dropped. Not entirely sure if that is intended or not.

actually the odd core mods were a trial, they did not work as they wanted and were removed. Just before the Dodge changes over a year ago.
That's all the specific Offence/defence/utility mods including the 2 PVP ones. Not just from rewards but also from vendors.​​

Yeah, except they pretty much f***** up pvp for majority of people by removing those perception mods. Rank 4's are just not enough for something like sneak+teleport for example.
