So I'm thinking of bringing back my old Suggestion list that I made two years ago and stopped updated early last year.

I would of course update it and post a new thread to refresh the discussion rather than necro the thread. So for now, lets discuss some think that are on the list that actually made it into the game and how we either wished it was implemented or how surprising some of them actually were completed.
I'm personally surprised a lot of them got done.

Its telling how little the community cares about what has happened in the last couple years that were suggested and actually implemented into the game. I won't bother rebooting the suggestion list now since it doesn't have support.

Permanent sidekicks came but priced to cringing levels. Speaking of temp to permanent, was hoping that temporary devices that drop in game get permanent versions that drop in game too as an update next year.
I wanted Double Exp events to disappear but instead we got the hourly changes into weekly with no time to plan ahead on which one you want to make the most of.
I wanted event changes like specifically Nighthawk, but the vendor added to that, Halloween and Winter events is an excellent touch.

Rarity changes has been long coming and I'm glad it got in.
I'm mostly hoping this next year is an update to devices that drop in game including returning purple devices to Open Missions, new vendors for every event, but most importantly permanent sidekicks being repriced based on players with multiple characters and having custom sidekicks that are on the cheap. Sidekicks make money from the low price of a few hundred zen and from having to farm and purchase player gear specific for it.
Seriously, the only gripes I have is not having sidekicks and aura sets at affordable prices. The prices the way they are now only punish players who invest in multiple character slots.
I have loads of characters, I don't see any of them having sidekicks. Not appropriate for them. However, I have a freind with a couple of characters tailor made for having sidekicks. What sort he would like best is another matter.
so you want sidekicks to have mods like vehicles or trainable like STO BOFFS?
I've been thinking on peoples asking for customizable sidekicks.
the BOFFS in STO are only customizable when attached to your character sheet. They seem to have them linked as part of the character, so they can be trained in extra skills and use the tailor.
WE would have to have the character sheets in CO amended to be like that too.
Currently all we can change is character and auras colours, when attached to the character .Since the aura colours can be changed, it means we have the partial link already. They would have to ad in the tailor link too, which stores BOFF costumes in with your costume files.
Permanent version of temporary devices- especially the summons. ONLY if they are like the majority of legacy summons with a specific time out and then CD. NOT if they are like Teliosuarus pheromones. WE don't need more serial summons and plagues of pets , sorry larger plagues of pets.

Powers would probably be, make them as characters and have them linked as with the BOffs.
However, the BOFFS have a limited list of skills they can learn and they need to be trained in all but the basic ones they get, which is 4 ground(1/rank) and 4 space(1/rank), they can only have 4 of each active at any one time, at max level.
The next problem is programming them to use the powers.
Boffs you have to assign a current one per level and either they use them as they think or you force them to use a particular one.
To get the customizable ones, that some people want , we would have to have a similar system installed.
1. character sheet link to tailor
2. sidekicks attachable to character
3. powers for the sidekicks- each power being listed/made and a list of when a sidekick is likely to use each power.
4. ways to learn the powers(they all cost in STO)
