IMO the first part is the most important, and can be summed up like this:

• Get your color column buff immediately when the tiles light up.
  
• Get the buff from the column of light that is the same color as the tile you will stand on when fighting.
  
• Stay inside your colored tile when the cyber storm starts.
  
• If you die, do not revive during the cyber storm, or you will instantly die again.
  

Obviously this does nothing to prevent the bugs that are out of our control, but still a good read for any new players
