As I understand it, from time to time Nemesis Minions are supposed to spawn in and join the fight while fighting enemies in open world areas. Not only does this seldom occur for me (perhaps it just feels that way because longer missions happen in their own areas), but when nemesis minions do spawn in, they usually despawn again immediately - as in, under a second.
Sometimes this seems intentional, such as when it's been under a day since the last popcorn mission. But most of the time this doesn't seem reasonable. The possibility has also occurred to me that it's because my character has left combat already - in which case, why have them wait til the last second to show up when this is the inevitable result?
And it really slows down progression - my level 40 character hasn't made their second nemesis yet because it takes weeks before they get a proper chance at a mission drop.
The only workaround I've found is to be [i]very[/i] fast on the trigger finger and damage 1 minion while they're in the middle of vanishing, keeping that individual around long enough to defeat.
I can't be the only person experiencing this, can I?
