This power is intriguing. Could it be the candidate for an str-con-ego build?

    If ya take the adv, Palm Strike is still melee and is now also flagged as AoE.

    Yeah, nice looking power.. I've been wanting to build around it myself. The knock is pretty huge though, which makes it annoying to use in many situations :(

    Str Con Ego Build? Are you going for vindicator mastery... or are you going Str PSS, but investing in your secondary SS?

    Here's my optimal build so far.
    NW increases charge time. You get it out much faster.

    It's by far not a godly build but it'll do well. If you want you can replace the kick with Dragon's Claw for some single target dps if you prefer, but FCB has a pretty good dps overall.

    Yeah, I know ego doesn't boost OPS.. one of the few ranged-esque powers that scale off strength and does decent damage.

    Just thought you had a pre-existing Str/Con/Ego build you were trying to fit OPS into... and my curiosity was perked.

    Yea, Open Palm Strike is okay for dps- most charged melee moves are. Its not too great, but ya can def do much worse. Its viable to make a build centered around that attack.. though as a knockback it can be annoying.

    You'll want to be careful using the lunge in that build if ya don't want to tank. Spirit Reverb could also potentially work w/ the build since iirc Chi Blast splits up the dmg to have some Dimensional, but then ya want an easy Fear apply in there.

    No, I was really just wondering if it works off of both str and ego since it's half ranged. But it doesn't and that's actually good. Vindicator mastery is one of those things in the game that need a massive buff to be worth using.

    Yes, thanks Flowcyto, I would absolutely be careful with using crip. I typically put it on characters where I know I'll be running with friends who play ATs in lack of a subscription and I keep aggro off of them. As well as it's useful against baron, and possibly in pvp which I don't really do.
