URGENT: Problem with ONSLAUGHT

PROBLEM TYPE: Death by proxy. (Player characters die of events outside of their power to avoid.)
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Any level of any aoe heal will affect people who have the Onslaught buff. This is outside of the power of anybody who has Seraphim or Sentinel Aura to prevent from happening.
SUGGESTIONS:
1. Set Onslaught as only available for level 40. It is endgame content, do not let low levels interfere.
2. Set people with the Onslaught buff immune to outside tampering. If a player wants to enter Onslaught they should either
2.a. Attack the onslaught opponent
2.b. Activate an "Onslaught status" which can also be turned off at will and be considered forfeit against that particular target.
3. Alternatively create a separate, level 40 only onslaught instance where people get ported if they wish to fight in Onslaught.

This was bought up many many times (with other powers like pesitlance, fire form and medical nanites to name a few) and the devs did NOTHING to fix this.....gotta "love" it when they don't listen.

They read the forums, it's how they choose to use the feedback (or in some cases ignore feedback) that's been the issue.

This was intentional.
Everyone LOVES pvp, right?
Get "everyone" into it regardless of feelings on the matter, or ability.
If it wasn't fixed, it was intentional. If it was intentional, it won't be fixed. Simple. If someone, anyone in authority on the matter would have said anything about it, like 'It's an accident, we'll fix that right up!" but this hasn't happened. Thus, it had to have been intentional, and like the bug with being unable to whitelist pvp, (and be able to queue for Private Queues) this is merely another step toward forcing pvp onto everyone regardless if they want it or not.
I could be wrong. I sure hope so.

I gotta say I'd really hate to have Onslaught be limited to level 40 only...instead it would be great to make it somehow worthwhile for lower level players...maybe by providing xp? The other suggestions seem fine though.

For what it's worth, I don't think Sentinel Aura and Medical Nanites trigger this particular bug.

I just did some testing. While not flagged with Battling Supervillains, I made sure the aura was active and ran around an OV dogpile. These were the results I got:

Sentinel Aura: NOT FLAGGED
Medical Nanites: NOT FLAGGED
Seraphim: FLAGGED
Pestilence: FLAGGED, but aura only activated if I was in Combat status
Fiery Form: FLAGGED, but aura only activated if I was in Combat status

This is the bug this thread is about, correct? And if people are getting different results, could you elaborate on the circumstances?

Based on testing me and somebody else did after Onslaught hit live and I was wondering why my toon was getting flagged even though I wasn't doing anything, the issue seems to be auras that can directly affect foes. Seraphim normally isn't, but does have an advantage that can and it seems that even without it Seraphim must do something in the background that triggers the flag.​​

This seems to reflect my experiance pretty well... I bumped into an Onslaught villian on one of my prestience characters and was not flagged for Onslaught (actually bumped into them)... so I can attest to Pesstilence not flagging you if your not already in combat... and none of my sentinel aura or medical nanites heroes ever got flagged for being near one either...

My experience is with seraphim and sentinel together. I'm happy to see that the aura itself is not subject to this then. Still, this needs to be fixed.
