DEX primary vs EGO primary on an Ego-Damage (Telepathy/Telekinesis) build?

Question1: Comparing DEX primary vs EGO primary on a telepathy/telekinesis build, which one hits home?
Is EGO superior? Is DEX superior?
Question2: Is EGO/Con/Dex or DEX/Con/Ego worth doing?
Question3: What are some optimal layouts for Ego dps builds? (Ego blast, lancer, dots, swords, any combinations, tricks and tips?)

Thanks to changes to dodge stat scaling and mechanics, EGO primary is almost certainly better if focusing on DPS, as it grants much more critical chance and severity than DEX primary does. To contrast, DEX gets a bit of defense penetration, but mostly focuses on the combination of Critical and Dodge, and suffers from having one of the worst energy management specs to boot.

That said, combining EGO with Dex is a good idea, as this will allow you to get the absolute most critical chance if the two are used together. With specs, you can basically get double critical-scaling with your dex stat.

Ego can be a bit energy-heavy, especially if you decide to use moves like Ego Blade Annihilation or TK Burst often. While Ego/Con/Dex is perfectly cromulent, you could possibly make it a bit easier by substituting the Con out for Int or Rec, and use threat drop moves for survivability.

Either works fine for a Ranged dps build. Dex PSS is better for pure dps; Ego PSS for everything else.

Mental Storm is a good DoT and debuff to add to either.

For Psion The Psinister, I used to use EGO/CON/DEX and I never ran out of energy when using my powers unless it was drained from me or Ego Reverb didnt proc for some reason.

With that stat combination you can achieve silly amounts of critical chance (I was sitting at 42% without specs or Ego Leech's crit chance bonus, with specs took me to around 58% and with Ego Leech, higher).

Mental Storm is a nice addition to any Ego Damage build.

Ego Form or ID Mastery would be good passives...I'd suggest Congress of Selves but the passive is quite broken.

TK Assault + Ego Reverb = Infinite Energy.
