Please add a direct way in game to add Zen.

This has been bothering me since I started playing, but there is currently no way to buy zen directly using cash in game. There is no credit card or PayPal option, and only a broken Zen Wallet option that hasn't been working since I first started playing the game. My previous option of buying through the Champions main site has been taken away when Cryptic decided to destroy it and add it to Arc here. So now I don't have any options when it comes to buying Zen. So please just add a direct option in the Zen Store, and I am not going to download Arc just to spend money.

    I have the same problem. please someone at cryptic add it to the ingame stores.. or atleast make it easier to buy lifetime.

    I normally use the Steam Wallet, which doesn't help with this request. It is dumb that trying to spend money on CO isn't easy. Other games I've played have you hook up a credit card or paypal through the account website once. After that, it's just going into the game a picking your payment option and spending.

    Cash shop in CO needs an update.

    I honestly don't know why people have so much trouble buying Zen for Champions... it's the 4th game on the list on this page [Charge]... last I checked there already is a "Buy Zen" button in the in-game store that directs you too that very same page... You don't have to add the zen to your Arc wallet either with that page. Every time I use it it goes directly into my CO account... It's not as simple as the old Cryptic website but its really not any more complicated either... it's just 1 extra button click... thats all...

    I have consistent issues with using that link, Raighn. About half the time I have an error and can't purchase, or the purchase takes a day to go through.

    Those are both significant disincentives.

    If a game wants impulse buying, click a button in game, that tabs out of the game, opens a browser, etc., really takes out the impulse.

    If Cryptic can restore the old functionality of the Buy Zen button that utilized saved CC info to buy Zen then that'd be cool... or if they change it to let you inter your info in-game when you click the button that'd be cool too... I'm not opposed to improving the system... I just don't understand why or how so many people have so much issue with it...

    I'd much rather they fixed whatever's broken with the Steam Wallet that makes it not work at all. Though personally I suspect that's on Steam's end at least in my case, since it's been broken in every game I play that has the option ever since Steam switched to pricing things in New Zealand dollars instead of US dollars for me.

    It'd be nice to have an option to buy via the website even when playing through Steam though, currently it only gives me the Steam option. I know I can buy via the website because I have in the past after Steam got broken so not having it as an option ingame, even if it just opens the website directly in a browser, seems weird to me.

    There already IS an option in game that just opens the website directly in a browser... in the C-store at the bottom of the interface there is a button that says "Buy Zen" It's been there forever... before PWI acquired Cryptic this button (at the time "Buy CP") would let you buy how much you wanted without ever leaving the game, but after PWI acquired Cryptic and CP was replaced with Zen the button's functionality was changed to link to the website... You can't tell me that I'm the only person who see's this button in the store...

    That button is what I am referring to. I've had it work as intended, though having to leave the game to do a purchase is annoying. I've also frequently had that button fail--fail to load the right page, the page doesn't have my username/password stored, purchase system simply wouldn't work, one day delay on purchase, etc.

    When the direct money-making part of a game is a bit buggy . . . I don't know how to finish that sentence.

    That button is also what I'm referring to. For me, if I click it I used to get get a popup with a list of zen amounts (Ever since it broke the list is just empty.) and a dropdown at the bottom in which the only option is Steam Wallet. One could assume that if I didn't launch the game through Steam I'd get linked to the website like you say. What I was suggesting is the option to link to the website should be there for Steam users too rather than outright replaced as seems to be happening.

    O.o if your still getting the in-game menu... then that confirms something I've suspected for a while... there actually IS a difference betweeen the Steam & non-steam clients... and people kept saying I was crazy for believing that there was something causing the clients to behave differently...

    There is a difference, the only option with the Steam Client is buying Zen through the Steam Wallet. The direct option is not there.
