MECHANON SPECIAL REPORT: the Myth, the Mecha, the Monster

Having found out the Mechanon Mega-Destroyer Event has returned, I've modified and am re-posting this comic, not to merely celebrate its return, but to complement it with insight on whom we're actually fighting for new or returning players:
NO ONE, not Dr. Silverback, not Gadget Boy, not Professor Donaldson, not even Sister SATA, knows the true origins of Mechanon...EXCEPT for a pretty obscure character who has yet to appear in Champions Online. What I've described in this comic is my interpretation, based on in-game clues, on what these famous NPCs honestly believe. It was a fun exercise.
However, if you want to find out the truth, Mechanon's full biography is described in detail in Champions Villains Volume 1: Master Villains (available at http://www.herogames.com/forums/store/product/47-champions-villains-volume-one-master-villains-pdf/ or from your Friendly Local Game Store), and there's more to him than meets the eye.
I won't spoil the surprise for you, and generally players compare Mechanon to Marvel Comics's Ultron. They're right...but he also combines DC's Brainiac and the Terminator franchises' SkyNET, which is actually not a redundant point. Mechanon was created with good intentions, but his original directives weren't just corrupted...they were perverted.
Last year, when this event was introduced, I got some great questions. They made me delve deeper into this topic and every new realisation was more terrifying than the last. I'm happy to share what I've read as long as it doesn't involve spoilers.
