I like the new Gravitar uniform. she looks much better than before. I have to say I liked the art better before though, so I tried to make a small fanart of her in her new uniform in my own style. I hope you guys will like it :)
edit: updated her costume, just saw her ingame model and it's much darker and has a cape. I think it looks better now.

Got to disagree, the fan art is incredible but the costume is so non-descript. Your fan art shows your passion though and that is very cool.

I like the new costume, like your work, too. The art they chose for it was obviously done by someone that's not trying to use a comic art style, so I agree with you on that. It's good art, but I like to see comic art in the comic game, ya know?

I think her new costume is great. She (finally) looks classy and somewhat on pair with her PnP costume. Her old costume was terrible.

Gravitar would be in her mid-twenties, Gradii. Maybe early thirties. Still, she'd be classy, not like a runaway from the Red Lantern district, lol. As much as I liked individual parts of her old costume, when pieced together the look was... well, certainly something interesting. RtcjLDn.gif

    Apparently she was like this

Then on-alert rampage turned her into this

I'm glad Onslaught revamped her costume

According to Champions Universe, Gravitar first appeared in the '90s, so that would probably put her in the 35-40 range today. Age is always somewhat elastic in comics, though.
Choose your enemies carefully, because they will define you / Make them interesting, because in some ways they will mind you
They're not there in the beginning, but when your story ends / Gonna last with you longer than your friends

Keep forgetting to respond to this. I think the comic style artwork kinda works (well, maybe without the dog). It fits well enough with the idea of a rich heiress that turns supervillain. The problem is that it translates very poorly to in-game graphics, both due to the physical models and for the lighting of that particular Rampage. Pure black is not a flattering color at all in this game for most things. Granted, the revamp looks better and still hits the thematic points needed for the character.

The main problem is that her original character concept wasn't a rich heiress ala Paris Hilton with a silver spoon in her mouth, all rude and entitled. It's a new interpretation of her as a villain, and certainly more original but it isn't the Gravitar from the Pen and Paper Champions books at all.

Scuttlebutt on this is that some particular unnamed Cryptic Dev who favored that new interpretation of Gravitar for the MMO pushed a vote on it on the day that people who would block him weren't able to be in the office to prevent it.

This new costume is much, much closer to the Pen & Paper interpretation of the kind of outfit she'd wear, and that's the main reason I prefer it.

And great job on the art of it. I love it, actually.
