Giant build after Cooldown nerf

ironman12348ironman12348 Posts: 41 Arc User
Hey, forum mates! I found Cryptic is going to reduce cooldown reduction by gear and int. Now i have 1 simple question: How to make efficient giant growth build with Miniaturization Drive stacking?

Here's my take on a Giant Growth Hybrid. With approx 540 INT I'm getting +20% CDR from INT plus 25% CDR from Second Wind. Additional cool down comes from a Mask of Speed & blue INT gear (including Hospitable eyepiece). That puts minidrive on a 14 sec CDR. Just enough to stack it. This is a very clicky build. I'm managing by spamming Havoc Stomp and clicking Mini Drive whenever it's up.

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Level 14: Enrage (Giant Growth)
Level 17: Havoc Stomp (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Miniaturization Drive (Reciprocating Gizmo)
    Level 23: Resurgence (Evanescent Emergence)
    Level 26: Aggressor (Rank 2, Rank 3)

Level 32: Nanobot Swarm (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 35: Masterful Dodge

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6: Superjump (Rebounding Resilience)
    Level 35: Teleportation

    Recovery: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Recovery: Withstand (2/2)
    Recovery: Super Charged (3/3)
    Recovery: Second Wind (2/2)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Locus (2/2)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Modified Gear (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Recovery Mastery (1/1)

I'm also relying on Guardicator to make up for some the squishiness of AoAC. Onslaught Gear + Guardicator is giving me about +88% damage resist. I'm sure all of these stats would be much better with Purple INT secondaries. I don't have any of those so making due with what's available. This isn't as tanky as the old Giant Growth builds.. but it gets the job done.

How much is AoAC doing for you vs going with AoPM? With the latter, you would have more int (=more cooldown reduction), and higher secondary superstats to power second wind.
