SB builds miss out on their burst potential if ya exclude Reaper's Embrace for the Rupture. I'd prob weave that into the build somehow. Dragon's Bite works fine as a general Rush move, but in that case I'd prob take it to R3 instead of its special adv.

The build looks okay otherwise, considering the odd mix, though I'd prob pass on something like Mesh. The root won't be strong w/o CC bonuses, Toxic Nanites can Snare instead, and a lunge would prob be more practical as a cheap MSA trigger w/ some utility. I'd consider passing on Binding Shot for similar reasons, but also cause its somewhat expensive. An AD, an AO, and/or something like Nanobot Swarm could be good powers to take instead. Could also consider getting Shred w/ PS or Viper's Fangs for Shredded- the debuff is a big dps boost for SB, though potentially going out-of-theme.

Warden Mastery is also very good for SB, as building up bleeds takes rather heavy use of the combo.

I started playing her today and decided I wanted to try something different... I'm looking at trying out a mixture of Single Blade & Heavy Weapons on her now... conceptually she's using a size changing wrench as her weapon...

Well, SB is good as ST dps and lacking in AoE options (that aren't involving shurikens), while HW has pretty much the opposite scenario going on. So, they could work out well if ya played to their respective strengths:

Here's a basic template ya can work from (more dps-oriented):

Picked back up leveling Clockwork again today and with the recent changes to both Heavy Weapons & Martial Arts... I'm not exactly sure of my direction for her build anymore... since most of Single Blades attacks have turned AoE now the old plan of SB for ST and HW for AoE doesn't seem to quite work anymore... does it?

Also not sure which would be more ideal for such a build, Thermal Reverb or Steadfast... I'm thinking maybe Thermal since my SB attacks will already be giving back energy via FotS

Well, if ya wanna make the HW + SB mix happen, then yea getting TR and HW powers that proc it helps solidify using both powersets, whereas w/ Steadfast ur gonna be pressured to make most ur attacks MA ones.

    Potential build for that:

    PowerHouse (Link to this build)

    Archetype: Freeform

    Super Stats:
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
    Level 15: Endurance (Secondary)

    Talents:
    Level 1: The Chiller
    Level 6: Acrobat
    Level 9: Boundless Reserves
    Level 12: Accurate
    Level 15: Quick Recovery
    Level 18: Impresario
    Level 21: Amazing Stamina

    Powers:
    Level 1: Reaper's Touch
Level 1: Reaper's Caress (Rank 2, Cleaving Strikes)
Level 6: Way of the Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Form of the Tempest
Level 11: Eruption (Rank 2, Magma Burst)
    Level 14: Thermal Reverberation
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Brimstone (Rank 2, Aftershock)
    Level 23: Reaper's Embrace (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Masterful Dodge
    Level 32: Decimate
Level 35: Ego Surge (Nimble Mind)
    Level 38:

    Travel Powers:
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations:
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

WotW vs. Unstoppable is picking the dodge/avoid vs. the knock resist and energy on knock. Up to you. Setup in Brawler is another route to take it in. Warden or Dex Mastery are both good options here as well.. though if ya take Dex Mastery then you want to pass on severity gearing.

Other main premise, imo, is using Skewer's new Bleed chance w/ Reaper's Embrace, instead of using Reaper's Caress as the main bleed stacker. Then the build can be less combo-focused.

Looks pretty solid. I'd consider the Mini Drive slot to be a bit of a wildcard, since a hybrid dps build wouldn't rely much on debuffing enemy dmg. I'd also take Warden's options over Guardian's for a build using a combo heavily.

Minidrive is mainly just for concept really... as for Warden... I just find Warden lack-luster all around... the most rewarding spec choices from Warden are also in Guardian which has more rewarding additional choices... I'm already DEX PSS so crit chance really isn't an issue, the extra few % from Slaughter are negligable for her, and Upper Hand doesn't add much value either.

Keep in mind that the crit from Warden's Slaughter and Upper Hand is flat%, and doesn't matter for crit rating's DR. Its still imo the better choice, but Guardian works alright too.
