Hi Everyone..., so I'm working on new FF toon, and as some of you may know, I believe in being versatile with my toons. In terms of Dungeons and
Dragons players, you might say I always preferred a Cleric or Ranger, because they could do a little bit of everything, to get out of a bad situation.
So. with a FF, you have different ways of doing this. I know, I know... some people who have looked at my builds question why I might include two
slotted passives. Well, it's because it's a Free Form toon, and one of their best "powers" is that they can switch roles, or "shift gears" as I call it. If they
were a car, you might say they can switch between 2 wheel drive, or all wheel drive depending on the circumstances., so without further ado... here is
the build I'm toying around with currently...

Now, the basic concept / backstory is that she's a cross between Rachel Grey (from X-Men, and not the Uber-Powerful Phoenix version from Excalibur, which I collected like a drug addict), and Bat-Girl, who uses her wits and gadgets and gizmos, but has no real Meta-Human powers, BUT, after her run-ins with the PSI villain group, it unlocked her own latent psionic abilities. And, as she is a friend of Witchcraft and Defender, when they detected that
something was distracting Spree, they took her to their headquarters, and fixed her, making her even more powerful than those PSI punks!
So, I want her to be a "bat-girl" type of character (but of course, without the ridiculous mask), but with some Rachel Grey telepathic, and maybe telekinetic abilities as well, to help her solve crimes. She may even wear just regular looking street clothes... I mean, after all, the villains are gonna be LOOKING for superhero costumes.
Now, she uses stealth most of the time so as to hit hard and fight, but if it turns out to be a tough fight, I threw in a secondary Slot power, Defiance,
(and Yes CON is one of her SS's)
DEX is thrown in because of it's over all usefulness, amd PRE because later on in the build, I tend to make her a "late-bloomer", getting more into the
Telepathy stuff.
My basic premise was that some of the telepathy abilities do not break stealth. Of course, I'm not sure if that's from the Congress of Selves stealth or
from just any stealth like from Night Warrior. I still can't be sure, so maybe you guys can help me find out.
It's because I stumbled across this thread a few weeks ago, and it's stuck in the back of my mind ever since;
http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums#/discussion/252928/attacks-that-dont-break-stealth
So... Picture this... a really, really sneaky Bat-Girl / Rachel Grey type character, who uses telepathic abilities, and "psycho-rangs", but in the heat of
batlle (like when out-numberred she can turn on her battle armor to Battle Mode, which locks out stealth, but makes her much tougher (switching to
Protector mode basically). And if that's not enough, she can use Smoke Bomb to bail.
Now My question is... what should I use for my Energy Unlock? Telepathic Reverberation, or MSA? I can't decide... and maybe you guys and gals out
there know of an even better option I could use... or maybe you've even tried something similar to this, and have some hints and tricks I haven't
thought of yet!
Anyways, sorry for going on so long, and thank you very much for any advice you can offer me!

I assume Mind Break w/ CripC was added in there just for tanking purposes w/ Defiance. Since ur using TP Reverb, though, you'll get better mileage outta Ego Blast w/ Mind Opener. For tanking ya can get CripC and MO on Ego Blast, or just use R2 + MO for more dps. I'd consider replacing Mental Leech w/ Ego Sprites, mostly cause I find that sprites are a bit better as AoE when stacked twice. I'd also prob drop the Radiant sigils for an Active Defense, or use Ebon sigils (since they won't lower ur aggro if ur trying to tank).
The build looks pretty good, for an odd mix that tries different things. I'd consider taking Vindicator over Sentry, though. Or maybe take Overseer if using Ego Blast + heal powers. Con PSS wouldn't be a good pick for dps, but for a build that can tank and wants knock resist, its fine. You'd want to focus ur gear mostly on Con and Pres here.

So, how about this.... would this maybe be better?
Still open to ideas and suggestions

In power spot 26, I couldn't decide between Ego Sprites or Ego Sleep. If I can go back into Stealth fast enough and then lay into them with another Ricochet Throw, it might be more effective than the damage of the Sprites, unless I'm wrong? Also, it might be possible for me to go into single target attacks if I sleep a whole crowd of them. Heh heh, this is a new concept for me... never tried a character that could do either / or. @_@ (googly eyes)
