Smackwell Comics: (Title Too Long and Stupid to Enter Here)

This is the first of four short stories that are going to appear in a compilation when all four are done. I couldn't post this before but I've gotten permission to do so now, so here it is. For those of you keeping score, Knuckle Down is actually the third part of this compilation. Part 2 is still being inked, and part 4 is still being penciled.

This was my first short story, with a limit of 8 pages (and in my dumbness, decided to squish it down to 7). It was a good exercise, trying to fit a whole story in a third of the pages normally allotted to a comic book story. If anyone finds any of the story hard to follow, please let me know. Any other comments and critiques are welcome as always!

The pictures might be a bit small. If they are, I'll reupload higher-resolution versions later.

    Pretty great.

    Also, the aliens wrote and spoke in English because they bought into the Nazi Propaganda from WW2, remember?

    It makes perfect sense.

    The aliens kind of make me think of the Gadroon.


    Oh and the sploog sound effect on Dung Beetle from the Galactacid gun is kinda gross, and casts the "Makes me kinda sick to my stomach" line after it EXTRA gross. A little too close to "Splooge", IMHO.​​

    I have updated the images. They're like in HD now! Hooooooooooooooaaaaaaah! And added new colors and sound effect to pages 5 and 6 because Rune's a hater!!! :D

    No, definitely not intentional. I intend to publish these as all-ages comics. I wouldn't put anything in here I wouldn't want my son to read.

    we gotta get those aliens put in the game , they are brilliant
