Turn All the ATs into Reawakened Like ATs, except Better

Here’s an idea: Rework all existing Archetypes so they are all like the Reawakened (The Automaton) in that they all have several new powers that the only way to get unlocked is to level one up to 40. Of course, the Automaton needs to be reworked itself. But I’ll leave that to someone else. This rework will not only give new powers to the archetypes, but at the same time rework their power trees so that they are all useful. There are 27 archetypes in the game, 26 of them are not reawakened. Let’s change that.

For example, here is a reworked Soldier AT (I will only list powers as those are the only things that will change mostly on these reworks):

1. Steady Shot
1. Assault Rifle
6. Submachinegun Burst
8. Soldier of Fortune (New Passive)
11. Shotgun Blast/Frag Grenade/Smoke Grenade
14. Concentration
17. Masterful Dodge
21. Retaliation/Dirt Rub (New Power)
25. Killer Instinct
30. Lock N Load
35. Rocket/Gatling Gun
40 Sniper Rifle/105mm Cannon (New Power)

Ok, so it’s not that great to look at. I’m not the best to think about these things. But, as you can see, the Soldier would come with three new powers. All of which become available for Freeforms once the soldier is level 40.

Soldier of Fortune
- Slotted Offensive Passive
- Would increase Piercing, Crushing, and Fire damage
- Would increase crit chance and crit severity
- Would grant energy when hit by piercing, crushing, or fire damage.

Rub Some Dirt On It
- Applies a Heal over time to self.
- Takes only a click to add.
- Heal starts off strong but weakens over time.

105mm Cannon
- Ultimate Power for Munitions
- Very high single target damage
- Knocks the target down
- Stuns the target for a few seconds

So basically, like in the example above, all 26 non-reawakened would be reworked to include new powers and to be more useful. Leave your ideas on the ATs and new powers below!

Forcing gold players to jump through silver hoops just to unlock powers? No thank you x1000. I almost quit when I had a really good PA physical build in mind that was put on hold for God knows how long because I had to level an AT. If they made a bunch of powers only available after leveling silver ATs I would quit the second it went live.

Your power suggestions are neat though.

Yeah, figured that would be the case. It was just a random idea I had.

So... um... not sure if it's a glitch or a change they made without actually telling anyone... but um... I've never leveled an automaton passed lvl 14 and I have all of the automaton powers unlocked and usable, as of about a month ago now... I'm honestly hoping this was an unannounced change because I have zero interest in leveling an automaton to 40 to unlock those powers again...

Or....how about you ditch the unlock idea, but keep the whole "making ATs better" part....in their current state there's a rather small number (about 4) of them which are actually capable of being little more than being either being so poorly made they cant' achieve anything or heavily reliant on their team to pick up the masses of slack they leave.

    Yeah, we can do that.
