I was recently talking to an old gamer buddy, one who got me started in Champs back in the mid 80's, and realized that this month is the thirtieth anniversary of my introduction to the most amazing Pen and Paper RPG ever.
This game has either directly or indirectly affected the course of my life.
I have made life long friends through Champions.
I got into MMO gaming through a friend I met in a Champs group.
I met my wife in an MMO to which I was introduced by a Champs bud.
I have no doubt whatsoever that developing social and problem solving skills in RPGs (Champions was my first) has helped me along my career path.
My thanks to everyone involved in the game's creation as well as those who have helped it grow over the years.
And finally my recommendations to anyone looking for a truly spectacular pen and paper game.
