Cryptic Error

I checked the launcher solution thread and it didn't have an answer to my problem. When I open the launcher, I'm able to login in then I get the "Crypticerror: Oops! Your cryptic application has crashed"

In the solution thread it said to close "Teamviewer" and "Mumble". I have neither of these programs even installed on my computer, so what could be the problem? Thanks!

    Do you have any extra programs that are running along with Neverwinter?

    At first just Firefox and Dropbox, so I closed both and I still get the error when I log in.

    receiving the same error and all the solutions i received from the company after my ticket were all bs..

    had this issue either, its funny but i had open TeamViewer and as i closed it, game works...

    I'm having a similar problem. I have absolutely NOTHING ELSE running, I can log in fine, but when it gets to the "CRYPTIC" screen and starts loading, it gets about a quarter of the way and locks dead. I do ctrl/alt/delete, and the message says "exe not responding". What's happened to mess it up since I closed out last night?

    I just wasted over an hour (when I could have been PLAYING!!) re-downloading the game. Logged in, got the "CRYPTIC" screen, it started loading, got about a quarter of the way and locked dead. What the h*ll is going on??

    Also found Hamachi to be a problem. Disable it and retry... Hope you guys get to play

    Im having the same issue but on the boot of the program. I dont even get a screen before it tells me theres a "crypticerror: oops!" window. I got mcafee security which might be a issue but I doubt it. Its annoying I registered and my friends are playing but I cant and im help back by this. Whatever the issue is, you need to update the game to fix it. So I guess we just sit and wait for a update or try to close background applications until it works?

    Was having the same problems. Closed my Amazon tool and it immediately worked fine. Oddly enough, while trying to login I knew something was wrong immediately. The username field would not auto-focus and the tab key did not 'tab' to secondary focus. As soon as the amazon tool was closed (along with Teamview) it worked perfectly. Thanks for the suggestions!

    Looks like you need to close teamviewer and.or mumble and then log in and launch them.

    When i download my client it opens and i just get multiple script errors /:

    I can run the launcher, log in and hit play. The 'CRYPTIC' loading screen fully loads, then comes the 'NEVERWINTER' loading screen which just loads for ever then I get the 'Oops' Cryptic error. Any help?

    I got the same error too. I dont have anything running on the background (e.g. Teamviewer, Mumble). I was able to completely loaded the game. But when i tried to enter / join PVP Domination, that's when the game crashes.

    When I traveled to Mount Hotenow the Cryptic Error occured...Whenever I try to log in, same error occurs and now I can't play on my main account...This happened few days ago and still can't play, tried like 10 times (also files were verified many times), even after new patch.

    Would be great if anyone can help me, thanks.

    Don't know if this thread is dead yet... But I'm having the same issue! I closed every program except for Fraps, Motioninjoy, and Avast.

    I hope this forum is not dead but none of the solutions mentioned above work for me, as soon as i click my desktop icon short cut for neverwinter it tries to connect to cryptic auto update but then it has the cryptic error, tried this over 20 times and still nothing, i dont have teamviewer or mumble installed on my computer, please help me out here

    I have been having the same problems with my own and i have tried every solution there has been and I am still getting the same CrypticError. Can you help me anyway?
