Well, I just tried again and having same problem. I guess it's time to contact support. My internet is fine, and my problem seems to be the inability to patch at launcher. I don't even make it to the option of choosing 'play'.
Well, that was an excellent tip, and I was going to try that, but can't get to the screen where I would choose 'play' (or click the options). Once I put my password in it just continues with the little box in upper left corner that says it's "trying to update the launcher, please be patient, tried connecting _# of time".…
I'm currently unable to connect to the game also. My issue isn't with my internet because I have no problem launching two other games. Hopefully whatever is going on is resolved soon.
Thank you for the response. B) My alt was able to complete the intro quest with some help, but while there and afterwards, her IL had not increased to 40K when I looked. It was still showing as 34+K IL. Maybe that is a feature that will show up once the two week period has ended?
I didn't see an answer to this question and it's one I've been asking as well. If a toon falls short of the 40k IL currently, but is able to get to new sharandar, will that suffice for them to have 40k IL for future or do they actually need to complete the first step of the campaign? Can anyone confirm if the mount is account-wide, or just claimable by one toon? Edit: Oh, never mind. :3 I found my answer in another thread. Enchantment is account bound and beetle mount is account-wide, according to that.

I was curious about this and looked also. Could not purchase a bundle, after clicking 'add to cart' there is no cart anywhere and I see the error message after I refreshed.
