Okay cloud technology is really expensive. Virtual Machines would work. And the third point is that they most likely need to get approval from the main PW office for money allocation if it has not been allocated already. Come to think of it the biggest hindrance to getting the servers would be cost and set up time.

Lets be fair to Cryptic. It hasn't even been 24 hours from launch day yet. Kinda hard to get new servers up and running in 12 hours. Give it a few days.

I'm so happy this thread started positively. Anyway what happened isn't cryptic's fault. It's yours buddy. You didn't get cheated or screwed. You just didn't pay attention.

You know. Props to Cryptic. They have been very transparent through this whole launch day. That's more than what I can say about some other MMO companies. So yeah Cryptic is getting my support.

But remember. Only Hero's of the North get priority login. Guardians get nothing. They are in the same queue as us freebies.

I logged in and my queue was around 50000. I almost flipped a table until I remembered that the numbers are incorrect.

The old republic is a massive example of F2P gone wrong. It is a horrible mess of a paygate. I love the base game but really.
