Is it just me or does using AD to "Rush training" produce pets with lower stats? I first noticed with the Cat that I would only get 2-3 point increase on each stat if I rushed, but 19-21 if I waited the time out. Anyone else noticing this or is it normal that some levels have a very low increase in stats?
Only reason I even played this class was because it's ranged. I just hate that you're pigeon-holed into a CC role. It can do damage, but I'm a PvPer and if you don't have control skills on your bar then you're not doing your job as a CW. Hurry up with the DEEPS please.
Well, I'm only level 47 atm but I've got 3,117 crit (36.2% crit chance), 882 recovery (28.3% recharge speed 13.7% AP gain), and 1,496 power. You can get your stats pretty high even during the leveling process and the stats will be much higher at 60 and I'll be dropping crit to just below 3,000 and raising the others up.
Probably to give people variety. I would hate to be forced to spec a certain way because they don't offer an alternative or a way to enhance gear towards your desired play style (GW2 is a good example of why that's bad). There's different sets of gear for people who prefer to play different ways. If you couldn't get your…
Shield is great for TRs because they usually hit with a large burst skill right out the gate. Shield only lessens damage for one skill and then it's useless until it can recharge. The AoE repel is great for clearing a Dom point but then it's useless until you can get away to cast the skill again. In PvP there are better…
At 60 the consensus so far seems to be get 3,000 crit and recovery and then focus solely on power. That's just for now since no one seems to know much about Armor Penetration. This means that if you have a Cat or Ioun pet you will put crit/recovery in your gear until you're NEAR 3k and put power in the rest of the slots…
I believe a lot of people are confused about respeccing. You don't have to spend any money at all to respec your feats. You can use AD to respec your feats. However, you must spend $6 to respec your powers. If you respec your powers, it respecs your feats as well.
Sometimes when you damage a mob there is a damage number and a number in parentheses. I'm assuming that the number in parentheses is how much damage you would've done if you had more Armor Penetration. I could be wrong, but I'm entirely unsure what else those numbers mean.
Pretty much have to put Chill Strike in TAB for maximum damage in PvE. Chill Strike only hits and freezes 1 target if not in TAB. In tab it turns into a POWERFUL AoE damage spell with a relatively short cooldown.
It is. If you put evocation in one of your CF slots, you will notice that the damage for Chill Strike increases. Seems to be only one of 4 skills that is actually considered an AoE. Arcane Singularity, Conduit of Ice, Icy Terrain, and Sudden Storm are some skills I would consider AoE but don't receive an increase in damage…
I'm only 42 but I'm at 2776 crit and 35% crit chance. The percent is moving very slowly now though, to the point that I'll be taking some of my crit enchants out to replace them with Power.
It's kinda not resolved when a group of three GFs wearing that gear and 2 clerics is demolishing low levels with their level 60 stats and enchants. Sorry, I'm not very forum savvy. Thanks, for the tip :)
Because people don't care about a lower level gear discrepancy. They do care about someone having access to something they don't. Can't delete the other thread though.
I could be wrong but it seems if you rush training on your cat the bonus stats are lower. For 3 levels I rushed training and I only got +2 increase in the bonus stats each time. I allowed it to train for the full time and I received +28. Maybe that's how it normally levels but it seems weird...
The max you can get for those is 8.5% of the pets stats. It's MUCH, MUCH more beneficial to just give the pet a runestone with the stats you want because you will get 100% of whatever stat you put on it.
All the pets are rather lackluster except the Cat and the Stone because they give great buffs which augment our damage, which is waaaay more than a pet can put out. The damage:stat on pets is just horrible.
How important is Recovery? I've been using as much Smiting Occult (pow, rec, and crit) gear as I could get. Currently level 26 with 516 power(2031 attack), 852 crit(26% crit chance), and 691 recovery(25.4% recharge speed and 13.7% AP gain). Really liking the recovery stat.
