I did it with artificing - currently the cheapest purp/blues out there 3xpurple +1xblue gave ~44% - success first time on all 4 toons - AND only need to lvl it up to 11 to do your R3 unlock task

cool thing about that gear is it's dirt cheap to unslot enchants/change appearance. It seems as though the game considers it a lvl 1 item

So, i finally got enough companion metal to complete the tier 6 sca adventure, but didnt find the thief reward. Understandable, since this was the first time, but just curious how many times it takes to find the little bugger. Also, does it make a difference if I complete every available encounter, or does the thief drop…

ahhhh - very wise you are! I have been lazy as of late with the mailbox cleanup. Thanks so much for the reply and what would a forum post be without complaining about the limit right? So PWE you guys better "fix" my mailbox dangit! Next i'll be expected to do my own dishes....
