If that's the issue just make it so both work the same way, doing damage. As it is right now we don't have control over our damage this way in PVP, PVE should be quite easy.

I think with mod 4 Swordmaster is the way to go, but my main concern is losing FLS and making crushing pin feat useless since we would be lacking a good AOE control power to activate it.

For tanking this might be an issue but for DPS i actually have the solution for the equation, and its call Villain's Menace =D. As you said yourself GF generate AP very fast so i on Villance's Menace almost all the time during fights and when its gone if there are too many mobs i just block, Action surge gives me 10% more…

Take into account that is a DPS style what im looking for, so Weapon Strike adds some nice dps.

That's what she said =D On a real note, the GF really needs a push in the DPS (increasing the WD), rework of the TAB and increasing the cap on some AOE skills (Enforced Threat and FLS). All this is needed in order to put the GF in a competitive state,

Sweet! That's all great info! I'm also going for a more lifesteal approach too. I need to get some boons so will have to work on that but so far im enjoying this style a lot! You can also run Steel Blitz to improve your DPS while cleaning thrash

I recently re-spec to swordmaster after being an IV for a while and i have to say is not as bad as i thought there are some interesting combo with passive and can increase the dmg output a lot. Im currently working on a PVE build to be able to run Dungeons smoothly. You mind sharing your Swordmaster build @ripyourlipsoff
