Every. Single. Boss. Of Molten Core. Actually *had* a unique set of mechanics that set them apart. Mind Controlling Guards + Heals & Curse. Spawning Fires, AE Fear. Curses for big shadow hits, heals. Lots of offtanked adds (not constantly spawning @#$#), boss sped up attacks as adds died. "The Bomb" fight. Teleporting,…
This is supposed to be a team effort, and even tracking "points" aside from simple K/D ratios (which should not have any reward effect but merely showcase your e-peen) is pretty lame.
Most of the boss fights are extremely boring and uninteresting with no unique mechanics to them whatsoever. The boss telegraphs a cone, line, area, or PBAE attack that does a lot of damage, and lots of adds keep spawning. The ones that actually differ and have some interesting things about them (like the brain, that big…
Bull. ****. I was crit for 23k while at full health and instantly died. You tell me how to "dodge" that; go ahead. There was no "fight" and your idea that this was somehow preventable is laughably stupid of an excuse for allowing a ridiculous ability to keep existing. Or do you really think I should have wasted my stamina…
There is nothing at all "fun" or "balanced" about *any* class instantly crit-killing me by hitting me for 115% of my *entire* health pool using a single attack. Here was the fight: Rogue approaches. I am dead. Joy. There is nothing fun about being killed while the entire length of the "fight" I am dazed, unable to cast,…
I just got crit for 23k by a solo rogue while I was at full HP (I have full pvp gear, some pve in off-slots, and am barely cresting 20k. Defense & Heals spec cleric). Is this supposed to be funny?
I don't even summon my companion anymore. Can't use in pvp and in dungeons, just ends up dead, or even worse, decides to attack a non-aggroed group of mobs and forces our group to kill more. Despite being fully leveled and even equipped in decent gear, she (a dps warrior) does like 60 damage a hit. Why bother?
