The foundry is a great tool, however I feel you're wrong. My opinion of course, but Sharandar is rather boring and lackluster, seriously. It definitely does not merit the title of an expansion. No way, especially considering 90% of players can't even do MC. After 10 days of doing it there serves little point to keep doing…
I wasn't. :P I've never even done a boss fight in SP. It's fine. I've been dedicated to MMOs for the past ten years so it takes a lot more to ruin the entire experience for me. In any case I'm over it. I've started a third character for times of frustrations. I put it on myself partially for not reading tactics prior and…
In this instance it was frustrating that one of the two guildmates left, but it's more a problem with community. By this I mean the queue systems and LFG channel, as this sort of thing is far too frequent with players in general.
Yup! Me and my buds tend to take people under our wing when we gear up in most MMOs. It can be real hard for new players to feel comfortable and advance at all in games today.
ambisinisterr, do you know how chat channels will work? With three servers worth of people looking for groups during DD and what not, I can see it getting hectic. Curious as to whether people will be divided to some degree so individual messages can be seen.
I want to get geared so I can experience other areas of the game. I've only done half of the T2 dungeons, and have never set foot in CN/MC because of gear requirements, so simply I gear to play.
I didn't say that gear is a sure sign of a skilled player. I said that it takes a skilled player to play their class well. I have fun playing this game, but I play it to progress because that's kind of the point. I'm not a gear HAMSTER who wishes to be the best of the best or a "l33t kid", I just enjoy the opportunity to…
This game is based around gear - it's the only step towards progression if one wishes to progress. So your solution is for everybody to just fork over real money or do dailies for aeons? *cough* There is only three other ways to get purples in this game. The first being standard PvP, the second being Gauntlgrym, an…
I'll usually wait 15-20 seconds between each message if the chat is real active. Every 45s otherwise. I will admit 3 or 4 times where I got frustrated and pasted the message two times in a row. Oops!
I'm so happy that the servers are merging. Been having a tough time for months finding a home on Beholder. How will LFG chat work if it's all 3 servers? Won't it be chaos?
They definitely need to spend one week fixing all the random bits and bobs on CW armor that causes most hair to clip, as well as other clipping issues with capes - and yes, definitely that hat.
You talk as though the mechanics are sound. It's not a question of the difficulty, but a question of something so simple that they keep doing which is adding a plethora of adds to situations that would be better managed if there were actual tactics in play. I've grinded my way through other MMORPGs. In NW it can be very…
D3 is too random, I know that much. You have to filter through too many items, or did when I played. I wouldn't cry if this got implemented, but I'm fine with things for the most part.
RNG is a strange thing. Out of the 35 or so Pirate King runs I've done, I'd say about 30 of those runs, nearly every single one drops all TR items. Every time almost. It's just strange to see trends that last so long and seem so obvious. I would wager these things are just RNG, but sometimes I feel like it's a conspiracy,…
You can argue all day if you want, but it's simply a stance that you hold so don't act self righteous about it. You act as though the system is perfect and that the rules must be followed, or else don't play. I don't buy that, and I don't buy into the twisted justification that I get from posts like yours that tend to…
I'm all for a guild hall, but player housing... it will never happen as it has never happened in 95% of MMOs. An interesting and exciting idea but something that developers are very reluctant to ever discuss.
It isn't demanding by any means and honestly I rarely lose all my coins, but the times it did happen were because I was working a 12 hour shift and I just never got the chance to pop on for whatever reason, whether it's a power outage (got lots of those this past month), or me staying at my girlfriend's house, whatever the…
For 7 coins you can get a Coffer of Wondrous Augmentation which has a chance of awarding a coalescent ward. In my experience it's around a 15-20% chance and most people I know would agree with this figure.
