I find it hard to be disappointed when they had outlined what was coming. I was already disappointed when they announced gauntlegrym. I mentioned people won't even care to put in the effort on the forum and some strange people got angry at me.
So then you'll just queue with players who don't know how to play and don't have gear since you can queue for T2s in pvp gear and a couple rings? Your problem isn't other people and what gear they have, so don't be surprised if this change goes through and it doesn't solve it.
I'm really 100% sure on the time limit, but if you invoke at say, 9 AM, and get your coins, then invoke again later on at like 3PM, it extends the time for reset another "day" which is probably 24h So your coins wouldn't reset until 3PM the next day, but you would get another pair of coins for invoking again at 9AM. So…
Would be nice to know how Constitution Focus actually works. edit: this post seems to have some info on it: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?350981-Gwf&p=4477362&viewfull=1#post4477362
People who care to stick around for the ridiculous grind will just run PVP gear until they get their drops. Non BiS items will still be barely worth putting on the AH, and the crafted gear will still be completely undesirable because it's not worth burning a dragon egg on, making each piece cost at least 120K AD to…
A lot of people were asking for a Need roll to result in a BoP, and a Greed to result in BoE Which is actually quite reasonable. That's probably what you are recalling.
tasks run while you are offline you make gold while not even playing the game you can stockpile it faster than you need to spend it unless you are deliberately jumping off of cliffs and using a kit every time 100 times a day
You make a good gold income from Leadership... Leadership is the every man's "tradeskill" it is supposed to support your adventuring as well as other trades Also, try to run instances that you are not dying nonstop in if you are burning too many injury kits.
It's not too hard to imagine that they have some sort of plan to replace the income from people buying zen to sell it for AD to buy gear. They have to be thinking that there is some way they can profit more than that. But they are wrong and people are just going to leave because we didn't come to NW for a grind. Ultimately…
My guild does profit share runs where the GL sells the item and everyone that was on the run gets a cut in keys. This change would be awful. We'd have no reason to run anything anymore. Gauntlegrym isn't going to cut it.
What is your legitimate argument for turning this game into a gear grind? Because so far the only argument I've seen is "EVERY OTHER MMO". Why are you even here then? Have you cleared Castle Never?
I like how the only argument for this change thus far is "people should have to WORK for the gear" When work constitutes nothing but a timesink RNG grind Has the market of MMOs really whipped people into such a zombie-like state that they actually desire this now?
I can't believe so many brats are whining "waaah I can't spend all day every day in an MMO and feel superior to others who go outside sometimes because they can actually clear 4/4 CN wearing a crappy PVP set the day after hitting level 60, make it grindy so time spent makes me better than you!" Plenty of other HAMSTER…
Does the animation for impact shot look exactly like dazing strike? If not, then I'm going with adozu's answer. Edit: Does anyone even run impact shot in pvp?
Some people want to have a place to feel superior to others based purely on their ability to tolerate countless hours of monotonous grinding. That's what they think this genre is supposed to be. Every single game. Not one can be different.
Just what we always wanted, every other MMO. Great argument. What he fails to realize, is his "improvement" to the game ultimately winds up with him (not me) sitting around in enclave anyway. He just wants to make a 2nd job of getting there for some masochistic reason.
Can you tell me how many times I should run each dungeon for head/chest/arms/feet to meet your definition of "completing the content"? In "this genre of game" when you have really completed the content, it's now known as "on farm". Everything is already on farm. Except, if I've got BiS, and everything is BoP except HAMSTER…
