Excuse my lack of knowledge, but what ever happened to the 'reforge' system for artifact weapons in which you were suppose to be able to reforge an older artifact for a newer one of the equivalent level? (Orginally discussed as coming with Mod 7 around mid July of this year).
Without allowing for a viable path of progression (as perceived by the players/not the developers) for solo and small/medium guild players, this game will continue to fade away. There will eventually be no way for a solo/small guild player replace the eventual burnout of the players in the larger guilds (without either a…
Just the opposite. SMoPs will be dropped.. GMoPs will require AD purchases it appears but may still drop in lesser areas.. "We are reviewing all of the locations Greater Marks of Potency drop/reward in the game, and are swapping those for Superior Marks where appropriate."
Reduction in MoPs is a very small start in the right direction in my opinion. I will admit that I feel a sense of dread for Mod 8 with the mention of SMoPs, but if this is only the first of many steps taken within a reasonable time span then I might be around to see if my fears are well founded. You still need to balance…
The spread is due to the rapidly falling ratio of AD to Zen. Sell orders do not auto-adjust once placed and can take days to clear if not at the current market conditions.
As to your comment about many seeing AD as a fixed value, that is because the cost needed by many to advance their characters are fixed by the Wonderous Bazaar. It would be no different if the AD value was held the same and the cost of MoPs increased 10 fold.
We know that the past system is not and will never be restored.. and to be honest that is alright. What most of us are upset about is the simple fact in which it was implemented with very little thought and an absolutely horrid execution. The players (and maybe even the current development team) were not that ones who…
Here's to hoping that they do something sensible and replace the AD taken from leadership to BoA material used to make GMoPs and the like. Well.. it is nice to dream after all....
In my many years of playing this and other MMOs the 'adjust many things' line typically works like this. Step 1) Company uses hammer in place of scalpel and over shoot the intended by 50%. Step 2) Player base screams bloody murder that the world as we know it is ending. Step 3) Roughly 20% of player base swears off game in…
If they really wanted to fix the game easily, they would prevent the trading of AD between characters on the same account. To do this simply prevent AD from going back into the account pool when a Zen/AD trade is canceled and place it directly back on the character that posted. Then any an all AD transfers would have to…
When is the patch to fix the broken items in this patch? For example not being able to access DR campaign store on HR, GWF not being able to buy DR iLevel 120 armor (shows CW armor), missing hp stats on the new Shandar iLevel 120 armor (helm and greaves)...etc.
From what I can tell of the armor sets (and partly assuming that some of the stats did not get applied correctly).. then DR appears to be a slight bump up from Eternal armor but focuses on ArP. The Shandar set has some same slight bump up for focuses on Crit (really hoping the loss of hp on two of the pieces was a…
I ran my main character (GWF) though the vigilance quest series just to see the content. The 6 of the remaining 16 characters are currently level 70 with the 8 of characters being one to two days away to reaching 70 (so 14 by invocation). The last two (both OP) are currently level 60 via invocation. To be honest it is more…
An acknowledgement of known bugs/issues along with a short-term, near-term, and longer-term remedial approach prioritization would work for a start. In conjunction with that at least weekly status updates on the 'state of the game' approach. Returning to previews and patch notes on the Test server would also help in…
Just out of curiosity I ran the numbers of what a 2xp RP weekend turn in would do. Currently I have both my elemental main and offhand weapons up to purple. If I were to refine the level 60s on a 2x weekend, it would take my new weapons up to level 59. I would need about 300k RP per weapon to bring them back to orange.
Placing a max level 60 artifact weapon/offhand into the comparable level 70 item shows that it will grant 1,878,772 refining points. This is 40.4% of the 4, 645,200 refining points that were used to level it up. Save for a 2x RP weekend... I know I am!
The old campaigns were restructured to support the leveling of enchantment, artifacts, and artifact gear in a level 70 environment. Which makes sense now that your artifact weapon and off hand are obtained by the level 60-70 campaign zone quests.
We never need a 2x RP weekend again...IF they permanently increase the conversion rate of refining existing artifact RP from 40% up to the 75%-80% range!!
It was not they way on Test a week or so ago. They could still be used to upgrade the level 60s which could be fed into the 70s though with the loss on 60% rp during normal events.
All Companions will currently have their level cap raised 5 levels before needing to upgrade to the next quality. At Mythical quality the summoned companion/augment is supposed to give 15% of its stats to the owner (currently bugged on Preview as it only lasts 10 seconds). Non Augment companions also get a companion boost…
