If I could stay connected long enough, I could give some decent feedback but I can't. It took me hours to just finish doing the few opening quests for the new area.

Its the first day its been live so you can't possibly have realistic expectations that everything is gonna be perfectly working.

Is there a way as of now to test the new equipment on the shard? I haven't found anything yet if there is.

Yeah its quite annoying to play and get disconnected for no reason. I can play other MP games just fine but this one. Its definitely a server/connection stability issue on their side and its needs to be addressed urgently.

Yes I just noticed the same and sent a ticket in to the support team. So its up to them now to review and make fixes.
