Just enjoy the game and don't worry about the exploiters. The 7 hour rollback is the period when the exploit went viral and is the vast majority of the activity. The 1% that was happening before the rollback will have to be investigated in detail on a case by case basis. It seems like a good compromise between minimizing…
Another ridiculous thread. No wipes please. Devs, keep investigating and deal with the exploiters as best you can. You are taking the right approach. Thank you for letting us keep our progress as you take care of the people that created this mess.
So you found a blog where someone that hates PW spells out doom. There is one of those for every MMO ever made and they all have the same basic problem. They are completely one-sided and ignore what people think. How is that all of my friends and I really enjoy the game and are having loads of fun? Let me enlighten you.…
The game seems to be doing well and the bugs are getting worked out. I am glad they had this open beta period to work out everything before the system goes live. I love this game!
Definitely not quitting. Over one day of rollback to fix a serious issue? That would be ridiculous. I will say I think the devs did the best they could and got on top of this right away. Awesome job!
What I am seeing is a large number of people that like the game and making a few posts each. I see a very small number of people with many negative posts. Some didn't even play the game.
I enjoy the game and I've been playing since 1979. Certainly not "From the beginning", but I would definitely call it the first chapter given how little was out at the time and how much has been released since then. The person you quoted appears to be a D&D player as well. I am not much of an MMO player really, but I am…
The original post reads like a pessimist's manifesto. It makes no sense for a software company to act on speculative things like this. D&D is about having fun with your friends a fantasy story setting. If you don't like Cryptic's story, make your own with the foundry. If you don't have time to make your own, check out…
It's a very interesting concept and the fact that a FTP player can earn everything in-game is a big plus. As far as the in-game economy goes, if more people are buying Astral Diamonds the price will go down in the Auction House. If less people are buying them the price will go up. So more paying customers means the price…
I said this in another thread as well. I am glad to see a company that wants the "paying customer" demographic well represented in the beta process. Paying customers are the people that will keep the lights on for these companies. Well done and great idea!
I am still getting used to all the commands. Overall I really like the game. I will hold off on detailed thoughts until after the last beta test weekend. I would definitely recommend the game to my friends based on first impressions.
The download and install worked perfect for me. I chose the standard dowload option. I am not able to log in yet to play the game but I believe that is intentional since the beta doesn't start until Friday. The process went very smooth. Thank you.
I Would like to join the guild. I am not wishing to exclude playing with people that aren't Christians, but I think it would be great to group up with a Christian gaming group. I remember our D&D group at school being protested by parents claiming it was demonic. It's great to see Christiams understanding that D&D is no…
