OK, I am Necroing this post because I think it's unacceptable that this still hasn't been fixed. I started playing this game shortly after mod 8: Underdark came out and the problem with the rapid strikes animation was already present before that. I left the game after mod 11 dropped as I couldn't play it on my potato pc…
I submitted a ticket for it, but I also have items missing or not autoconverted properly. Some of them I was able to recover from old packs, but some from events are gone. This is across all of my characters
I can confirm that some fashion sets are missing or not properly converted to the appearance library as intended. I have noticed this with the Waterdinavian set, Moonsilver Regalia and the Dragonborn fashion sets. There could be more but I haven checked them all, and I'm not sure if these items are removed from the game.…
The whole concept of relic weapons was flawed to begin with. It sounded nice in paper, but implementation left a lot to be desired, the requirements insane, and it was no different than BI gear in its function. Thats not to say mod 10 doesnt have anything good. The maps are gorgeous, and the story is not bad. The big…
IMO, the mistake the previous dev team made was assume that creating IWD 2.0 was going to be popular with the playerbase. That is what is leading to the issues that were seeing right now. Im positive that there were a lot ot pitchforks and fires when Mod 4 came out and Mod 3 along with BI gear became obsolete and…
Also, seems that with the new mod coming out, some of the issues with flickering went away. I tried the preview version and the grass issues I was having were gone on the preview build. Something to do with older video cards
Nevertheless, when older players feel like they're being punished for running new content or changes, it fosters negativity and the perception that older players are not wanted.
LOL I was just gonna post this @lordseth1985. They basically copy-pasted @mimicking#6533 post into the news section. How unoriginal. Devs, what we were expecting is a better explanation on your changes. Right now, the patch notes and the Dev blog on these changes feel like a fluff piece. Nothing it says helps to ease our…
Merry Christmas @miasmat and thank you for going through all this trouble to compensate us during your holidays. You deserve a bonus for going above and beyond! Go and enjoy the holidays. Its a shame that some people are still complaining even after all the effort you've put into this.
@barkoznia79 The winter event ends proper on jan 5. The reason why some areas say it ends on Dec 29 is because that is when the second half (zenith) of the event starts.
Too many to count with both hands and feet XD. Seriously though, there might be around 300 - 600 on Xbox alone, not counting ones with altered versions
So we literally came back full circle to how things were before the class balance started - SB as the only viable path. Meanwhile, HB once again becomes an obsolete/unviable path for dps - a niche build for those that refuse to go SB.
At least now I know Im not the only one. For me, its specially bad on rendered grass. Ever since SoMI came out, both in preview and live, the grass flickers between either bright green or black colors as long as the world distance view setting is above Minimum. Before SoMI, my settings were on high with no issues.
For me, it seems to have started when Sea of Moving Ice patch went live. I tested that patch when it was on preview and it was like that as well. It was quite noticeable cause the current live patch at the time had no issues. Prior to SoMI I barely had issues with graphic rendering.
About Purifying Fire: it only procs 5 times total as the tooltip indicates. That means that after it has procced 5 times it wont proc again on affected enemies until you use an encounter or the 60 sec timer runs out. It does work as the tooltip indicates, but total damage for all 5 procs is not much. Its about the same as…
As I said in another thread, tanking is still possible, just not as efficient as a GF. At lower ilvls, a paladin might be forced to use both BO and Absolution just to tank very difficult content like Orcus or FBI. Thats 2x encounter slots dedicated to tanking abilities that in reality, only benefit the Paladin. Meanwhile…
Lets see, its 50% of the shield returned as damage to you, which then gets taken from your remaining HP (current HP+Temp HP+Absolution). Example: That means that if your max HP is lets say 150k, you receive 75k back as damage IF your ENTIRE BO shield gets depleted by enemy dmg, which then gets taken from your remaining HP.…
And that is the crux of the problem, we no longer have any abilities that reduce incoming damage by a percentage, except for Dailies. So while the GF can mitigate incoming damage using a second layer with the shift mechanic, the OP needs to use a Daily and wait until his AP bar is recharged in order to do it again. In the…
I wonder what you were doing to have such trouble at that ilvl. Not that Im saying its cookie cutter easy, but at that ilvl you should have less trouble tanking orcus than me a 2.8 ilvl. Paladins are still capable of tanking orcus, but its not as good or as efficient as a GF. I'd say look at your rotation and see what…
Using either BO or Absolution with Cleansing Touch and Prism is also seems like a good combo, as some mentioned. The temp HP provided when maxed is good, though TW gives more. Im actually considering dropping Purifying fire for Prism on my feats. Dont know if the extra damage from PF is worth it over healing from Prism
"emilemo said: I am definitely ready to burn down Cryptic About your GF comment - the only reason not to jump into spending for another class is this: you never know when its gonna get nerfed. Best thing to do from a player perspective and knowing how things happen in this game is to stick to one class during highs and…
@nightranger7477 I hear ya buddy, I hear ya. Im considering the same as well. We were an eyesore in cryptics eyes that needed to be gone. Our class didnt fit their "grand" vision for mod 10 onwards, so they effectively killed it. In order to be somewhat viable, you need to be at least 3.5k ilvl, and some of them have…
Even if it doesnt break, the taunt icon on the enemies dissapears after 3.5 seconds instead of 5. Timed it with a stopwatch to make sure. When icon appears, enemies attack you and once it dissapears they can be aggroed by other players. Timed since icon appears to when its gone, and its 3.68 seconds by stopwatch
So I had another go at CN, just finished and boy was it a HAMSTER show. Wen with 3 dps and 1 DC, plus me and we died 12 times before we got another pally and tagteamed it. It was impossible even with DC buffs I was dying in 3 hits if I missed my rotation. Started with my usual rotation of BO+TW+Bane and it didnt work at all,…
