So - check out Marvel Online or whatever it is called - pay $200 there and no mention of priority in any queues. Open beta this coming weekend. Maybe lucky anyone got it here? :) PS This is entitlement mania at its best. You want the priority? - pay your 200.

Which means that a substantial part of the community think the prices are ok - so seems the free market is working as intended. Just bad luck for those of us who think they are too high (same thing I think about some cars I guess).

I agree - and a first few days of an open beta serving as a stress test is probably a good thing.

As one of the rif-raf I kind of object to that comment :) Anyhoo - game looking good so far - queues will be gone in a few hours / days I imagine, and this IS a beta whatever people think so I'm happy to put up with some inconvenience for now. I looked at the pre-purchase options but they looked a lot of money for a F2P…

LOTS of MMOs have had queues early on - especially in open beta. Sorry if this is all new to you - good experience for future games no doubt.

Most welcome. And it's not hindsight - I took a look at the prices and decided not to jump in based on content - and I'm getting what I didn't pay for, while everyone else is getting exactly what they did pay for - no issue that I can see except from the entitled generation.

Quite likely. They managed to get me to pay for a bundle in the Perfect World game - it was a nice mix of useful and fluff at about a third off - expect to see the same here.

No idea if there is or isn't - but just curious why you make that assumption? They need to make cash somehow.

They COULD get priority access if they bought the pack that included it - they chose not to - they should wait like the rest of us hoi-poloi.

I'm with you on that one. If folks were too cheap to buy priority, or made a sensible economic decision not to, they certainly shouldn't be complaining now.

Are you attempting to claim you didn't understand what you bought? I looked at the pre-purchase, seemed quite clear what you did and didn't get. Decided to wait and see what the game is like before shelling out.

No reason why not - Eve Online often has more than 50,000 people on the one server at the same time.

This is a beta phase - if folks don't know what that means then they may well be better off elsewhere.

Seems like they were pretty open about what you had to pay to get priority login - you didn't pay so shouldn't complain. And it is beta - stuff happens.

Good thing there are so many 'freeloaders' - looks like the game is generating lots of interest and many of them may end up paying customers.
