There are BOA companions that are not the account wide ones. The only two companion that I know of that are bound on account until you bind it to a toon are the war dog and the neverwinter guard that NW gave us for free.

If it is BOP why does collections say BOE? Would be nice if it was bound to account or BOE.

The problem with this solution is that some players rarely open skill nodes. I have met characters that only open the ones that they can without kits. I think the chance of failure should remain. You might have the tools to open the node but you don't have the skills to use the tools. I think that after you have opened X amount of a certain type of node your skill at opening them should increase and your success rate should increase. Eventually you should be able to…

I ran CTA 23 times with my DC before I got one. I ran it over 100 times between my level 60 GF, GWF, CW, TR and never got one. I ran it once with my level 20 HR and got one. Than on my 7th run with my HR I received another.
