It's usually this one. You should have a button lit at the top of your screen for the AD/Zen exchange. It will tell you that you have x diamonds as promo credit. You can then withdraw them from the exchange, either in whole or in part, to any of your characters on your account.
This is why I hate descriptions that say 'immune to CC', or I'm guessing it actually says 'control effects'. The term 'CC' originally is an MMO player constructed term and is just a broad category of what certain powers are used for. The fact that the developer uses it in descriptions is worse. Not all 'control effects'…
Actually the point is exactly the opposite. You can feed all those enchants you pick up into the ones you already have slotted so they don't take up space in your pack. You can even add to ones sitting in your bank. So I don't see how you find the new system forces you to need more inventory space than before.
Have you tried clicking 'wait for program to respond'? In task manager, gameclient.exe was still busy, so I clicked wait. I had to do it twice before it finished doing whatever it was doing.
I got the 'not responding' screen from Windows last night on my first login after the patch. I looked in task manager and gameclient.exe was busy, eating up 25% cpu. I clicked wait for program to respond twice and it finally finished loading.
I know I and at least one other person reported that bug on preview awhile ago. I even gave steps to recreate, although I was only using regular enchants. I did go all the way through the upgrade. It reverts back to the type of enchantment you originally dropped in the slot before refining/upgrading, and everything you…
That is understandable, but people also need to understand that the game is 'free to play', not 'free to get the best stuff instantly' nor 'free to be the best PvPer in the game as soon as you hit level 60'. Therein lies most of the complaints in this thread - everybody wants "to keep up with the Joneses" and feel so…
My lvl 60 CW has his free respec, but when I clicked into the Powers screen, it doesn't display my powers. It has the 'you may now choose a Paragon Path' screen with no button choices and has the description box for the Master of Flame paragon path visible. My TR and other CW did not have this issue (they have their…
Not exactly. It takes 9 different type level 4 enchants to make a level 5. If you use matching types (i.e. darks for a dark), it requires the same amount amount as before. Also, it wastes RP to rank lowers up to level 4 to make a level 5. Just feed enchants to the one you want to upgrade - don't do it in steps. Not having…
Kinda sucks, but there it is. By playing the game, you contractually accepted the ToS, which says they don't have to notify you of changes to the service.
Ahh. I would think that they would at least put it into the preview shard patch notes so that testers will know to test it when they think it's fixed, but they do have a QA dept. for that too.
Which wouldn't make sense as the person selling would have to sell for more than they paid to make up the AH fees, so it would be cheaper to buy from the Zen store than get from AH.
And due to the point-spend requirements to get to the next set to choose, they can't just let you respec the points from the changed feat elsewhere - it's not allowed by the UI point-spend system. Those points would be 'missing', putting anything after that into an invalid state.
I never retested after my second bug posting as I didn't want to burn any more of my p wards or delete/recopy just yet. It never ended up in the patch notes as fixed, so I asked about it again. If it's been fixed, then that's great - must have been missed for the patch notes at some point.
Excellent, well-written post Angrysprite, and I agree and support your idea. That is my exact sentiment with the companions on the Z-store, and is why any of my companions (other than 1 ioun stone) above white quality are pack/lockbox/event companions. I absolutely will *not* spend $30 and effectively character-lock…
Thanks for the tips, especially on the daggers - I was flip-flopping on which set to pursue. I'm not up on all the min/maxing choices. I'm an older gamer (41) who doesn't get a lot of playtime, and been in the same gaming guild for 17 years now since the original Neverwinter Nights on AOL. There's so much activity on the…
Either it's hard to fix, or they never changed the tooltip. Either way, it's been reported on both of the refinement system threads in red as they asked, so they've known about it for some time. Also there's another refinement bug for which I never saw a fix. If you slot an enchant without committing it (pressing the…
As of my last test a couple weeks ago, success with a p ward also destroyed the p ward (which isn't supposed to happen according to the p ward tooltip), and I never saw a fix in any patch notes prior to Thanksgiving. Does anyone know if that's been fixed?
I'm using the original build (with some play-style preference tweaks on powers) as a drow elf, and I can concur on the regen gear. My survivability was much higher with good amounts of regen. I tried stacking about equal amounts regen to life steal, always keeping regen higher if I had to choose between the two, and it…
Sounds like you need to divide-and-conquer for that group, perhaps a full 5 man stealth TR team, or at least 2 TRs and a decoy tank that can withstand the first set of the GF sequence to kick things off. Get the first GF to start the sequence. Once the other two start, two TRs start stealth-nailing the other GFs from…
rock paper scissors is balanced because they are akin to weapons and you get to choose which weapon you'll use for each battle. they are not classes that you must keep for every battle. trying to compare classes to rock paper scissors is ridiculous. The only balancing that can be done is by the players - get the gear you…
The only way PvP is ever 'balanced' is when the combatants are all the same class with the same stats, equipment, spells, etc. That is the only way to truly reduce it down to pure player skill, and since that is unlikely to ever happen, you may as well make the best of what you have. Has anyone in the community tried…
Preservation wards are currently useless. Well, not useless, but the advantage of them not getting used up if the upgrade is successful is gone at the moment. I've reported it multiple times (even in this thread) and it hasn't been fixed yet.
