I haven't played in a couple days. Lots of friends left for Elder Scrolls. Without my normal crew to run with, I've just experienced kick after kick after kick... Came here today to see if there was any news on that, so maybe I can play the game... This is Neverwinter now:…
This is why you get kicked: https://account.xbox.com/en-us/gameclip/23dee528-6758-4d75-b5bc-895566d378e0?gamerTag=THOUGHTBLUDGEON&scid=8dd60100-6cc0-42f2-bb3e-c47b184a79f5 Notice Haarl's Book dropped? Notice the loading screen right afterwards? That's why you get booted. Or maybe this:…
Finished my GWF last night - put on all the gear I've been hoarding, and got an 11.5k GS, and decided to run some quick pirates. I was able to complete 1 out of 4 runs due to kicking.
Gearscore is a borderline useless metric. Not totally useless as it shows how much time (and/or money) someone has invested in their toon. But it is no metric of player ability.
Unlock shores. Farm Dragon gems (and other goodies). Complete the skirmish daily for extra AD. Save every drop. Then Unlock artifact (it may take 3 tries). While you are waiting a potential 3 days for your artifact, you can run shores. After you get your artifact, unlock lostmauth (It will take a few days to farm the…
Absolutely. I'm sure I can line up some solid heals - a consistent 5 man running normal shores is a good gauge. Friendly competition is a sure way to find strengths, weakness and synergies between classes. Some guildies were experimenting last night, twitch streaming a two-man pirate for fun.
Not sure I said that, but yes, crits are amazing - and being able to double stealth (auto-crit) with a 20% raw damage increase on top puts me over executioner rogues every single time. I know everyone keeps saying executioner is best (and double dot bug or whatever), but I've run with executioners, they can't touch me (In…
Normally I completely trounce anyone that comes into a dungeon with me (I'm typically not one for bragging, but it's rare anyone touches me on a meter). But that’s my goal – work my character as hard as I can, put out as much DPS as I possibly can. Sometimes the damage meters are comically lopsided. Gearscore be damned.…
Last night I queued for epic pirate during dungeon delves. Speed ran to Redolent Surgeon, downed him quickly. Immediately saw a vote kick pop, and voted no. “Vote kick succeeded”. Loot window popped – Surgeons Band. Then I saw a loading screen. Lol. Booted for a Surgeons Band. New low?
I'm pushing about 45% crit right now (and 100% stealth and stun) - so the added crit bonus (DEX) might not be as valuable as a direct damage boost (STR)- we already crit hard and often, so increasing the numbers of those crits (and boosting at-wills) 100% of the time should be a better choice. This is my current…
Anyone want to weigh in on which artifact belt would be better? I'm debating between DEX and STR. Leaning towards STR, as I have plenty of crit, and stealth crits - and STR would be a direct damage boost.
As a Saboteur, I can double stealth. So stealth smoke bomb, step back, stealth dazing strike. This simple rotation leaves nothing but heavies left (with the right GS and stats, you can get away with just stealth dazing strike to destroy all normal weight enemies). That's when you start with the lashing blade (or stealth…
The solution is simple – you either host a game or join a game. If you host, you request specific classes – that spot is only fillable by that particular class (or role). If you join, you specify class (or role) and the queue system matches you to a session from a host. If you are then kicked or drop, you cannot be paired…
Right now, I'm using the red ioun stone. Can't die and provides full stats (not in PVP though). Makes it easy to tweak stats to obtain optimal balance. I've managed to get 6k power, 2600 crit/armpen, 2k lifesteal, 1500 recovery, 1k defense & deflect. Prior I was using the Drow Mercenary or MEDPAC the free healer companion.
It’s not that rogues are unique in their ability to be OP, it’s that it’s easier for rogues to be OP than other classes. Rather than call for class nerfs, I'd like to the devs to throw some love to GWF and Warlock. Bringing those two classes up would add some well-needed balance. Other classes have their CC, DPS, Defense…
I recently swapped out my stat overage in crit and armpen for HP. Anything past 2500 I slot down for more HP. I broke 26k HP and I can stand toe to toe with an epic golem without getting 1 shot. I keep my sourforged from popping as frequently.
The feats you can see from the screenshots above - take the skills listed in the order that they come (use Path of the Blade until you get Smoke bomb / Use Sly Flourish until you get Duelist Flurry). Otherwise, just put points where you need to get the core skillset below. You'll have to invest in skills that you will…
If it lists on the AH for similar salvage value, I put it on the AH. Someone gets a deal, and I get AD. If AH has lowball buyouts, I salvage (on alts - because I have about 150k backlog RAD). The great thing about putting on the AH is that if a player needs the gear, they can get it - better geared players make for a…
I'm debating swapping my vorpal out for the Delzoun enchantment. http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Brilliant_Energy_Enchantment#Miscellaneous_Enchantments "You have a 30% chance to deal 12.5% of weapon damage as Radiant damage with every strike. This damage ignores half of your target's Damage Resistances." Seems like it…
