My Devotion OP probably isn't built as tanky, but with some support from a DC I managed to stay alive against Orcus for quite a while the one time we tried it with that support composition. Group just didn't have the DPS to kill him fast enough before we'd finally slip up and I'd die. So I'd be interested in a better build…
I'm curious how much of the recommendations will change with the Divine Protection and Shield of Faith nerfs, and the potential* death of perma bubble. But as someone who just made an OP tank, I really appreciate this guide even as some big "changes" are coming to the class. *Relentless Avenger is gonna become a mandatory…
I've got 48 days left on my VIP, and there's no way I'll be extending it after this change. There's nothing worth getting from the lockboxes anymore and now there isn't going to be much worth getting from the trade bar store, either. I hope enough other people feel the same way that they see a noticeable dip in VIP…
I was one of the many people excited about the return of what I was assuming were 5 epic dungeons, and now I'm also one of the many disappointed that they're just 1 epic (a short HAMSTER version of CN) and 4 leveling dungeons. Like the current ones, the leveling dungeons won't be much fun for anyone at lvl 70 and decently…
I ran my first Epic Demogorgon, got a silver overall, should've been a Twisted Ichor waiting for me in the chest but there was none to be had. :( Epic is not worth doing at all until they fix this.
We've had a number of new people join in the past week, players new and old, and you can hop on aboard too! We run stronghold dragons at least 3 days a week, which is a good way for leveling characters to get a head start on lvl 70 gear!
I had 9 characters at 20+ leadership that I got AD from, and after the 15 or so minutes it took for me to do my leadership it left me free to do just about anything in the game that I wanted. Doing dungeons on my alts for gear, PvP with friends/guild mates, dailies and campaign stuff to help with the Stronghold, and other…
I'm thinking about getting If there's only one reason for bringing "the old system" back, it's so the developers can have more time to come up with an actual replacement for the system instead of just yanking the carpet out from under us with absolutely nothing in return to start. This is no "system" we've got right now,…
I actually got a Banner from a loss in my first Stronghold PvP match. I don't know how rare that is or not, or even if it's intended, but an hour long, laggy mess of a loss got me 1 banner.
It's an OP daily called Heroism, it gives them 100% of their health as temp HP, 15% damage resistance and CC immunity for as long as 20 seconds at rank 4. I'd guess that OP had the Flail Snail, which'd mean an OP could probably keep Heroism up just about forever.
eGWD isn't much easier, either. The T1 dungeons are more reasonable now for lower geared people, but now 2 of the 3 T2's require a level of gear to complete legit that's going to be tough for anyone new to get. They'd need to get carried and unless they've got a helpful guild then their chances are nil. Which is why so…
Grievance just killed 2 Stronghold dragons at once (and on stream, twitch.tv/grievance) for the first time with 20 people involved, so come join the fun to push us to 3 and beyond! :D
This logic and reason over the Stronghold being a long haul is going to become moot when they introduce GUILD HALL BOOSTERS or something on the Zen market so you can fork out a bunch of cash to get your rank up a lot quicker. Something even more and above the stronghold boxes they already have in there. The campaign…
The only way the AD changes will be reasonable is if you drop the prices of just about everything in the Zen market so it'll still be reasonable for the average player. But that's not going to happen, is it? Because this isn't about bots AT ALL, it's just about wringing every cent out of the current player base so you can…
If you're going to make us have to do more of the content to get AD, then give us our content back! Hurry up and return all the dungeons to the game! But I guess that doesn't fit into the agenda of HAMSTER over the player base.
New players will have a lot to look forward to in the "new" NW, like bot-filled dungeon, skirmish and PVP parties while having to compete against the rich who'll just become even richer thanks to the poor getting cut off at the knees. Oh and maybe some "new" dungeons somewhere down the line, which'll just be the old…
Bots will still keep making AD and exploiters will still find ways to get their AD. This only hurts the average players, but I guess that's fitting because I don't think this really about fixing the bot issue. It's just about trying to get more people to put money in the game, but it's going to back fire big time. Another…
Say goodbye to a huge portion of your player base, then. They'll all quit before they spend a dime on this game because you cost them their AD stream, and then why would even currently paying players stay in a dead game?
You better have an emergency maintenance for the FPS issues, then. Turning off mission tracker isn't even a permanent fix, the fps will just eventually get worse again. This can't be left as it is over the weekend, especially since you have a CTA going.
I liked going to solo capture and contest nodes on any of my classes, from OP to SW, so I pretty much hate this change. This doesn't take "contesting" out of the game at all, it just means that anyone can just sit on their node so any individual who goes to capture it is just wasting their time. It'll make it too easy for…
I'm a healing pally that enjoyed DJ's big single target damage but am alright with the potential for the new DJ's big AoE damage. But it's hard to use it in the right spots to get more than 3-4 at a time, so I'd like to see it's area of effect expanded if it's going to do more damage as an AoE now. It hasn't hurt my…
Bond of Virtue is an absolute must encounter for healing paladins. Not only buffs your healing in a wide area but allows to heal a bunch of allies at once through the chaining heals. Bane will also be a must for bosses for both the defense and attack debuffs. For enemies/bosses with nasty CC, Cleansing Touch will also be…
My ticket's been unresolved for 4 days now. Luckily it's just my Paladin and the tab power isn't very crucial for leveling, but at some point I think I'm going to need it.
I still had a long load-in time on my first log-in to the game post-patch, although I did eventually get in after 5-10 minutes. I hope this won't be a repeatable thing from here on out, then.
