Had to restart the launcher again and logged back in. And now it's downloading the latest patch.. It's pretty slow though compared to normal and I'm not downloading anything else other than this patch

Having the same problem. I've restarted the launcher more than 10 times, try a different way to login (click on button instead of clicking "Enter") and even restarted my computer. Still gives me the same error message..
