The problem isn't the size really. Big patches are to be expected from an MMO. No, the problem is the speed is atrocious. I get like 50kB/s speeds here, it will take forever. Anyone knows if turning on "patch via proxy" and then your region will speed things up?
This is the most significant part that people seems to be missing. This is a huge nerf, at least 25% less damage overall on bosses. Let me reiterate that. This part alone will reduce TR dps on bosses by at least 25%.
Your stats are actually ok. Most stat theory puts Str > Dex. The difference is not that significant though, how you play and how skilled you are will account for much more difference. I personally maxed out Dex because I didn't know better then, and because I liked crits. To reach Dex 26 you roll the maximum Dex with +2…
Lol, can you people not derail the topic? This was strictly about PvE in a dungeon/raiding enviroment, cleans is irrelevant. @zephryli: why would it be OP to triple the damage if you have triple the people? If anything that's to be expected. Lets take an extreme example. Lets say there's a class called the "DoTer". Now,…
For what it's worth, I've had more consistent success trying to stack as much buffs as possible for the 10th stack only, than doing it "organically". Based on the many many times I've tried to stack, I'd say that there's more significance to the 10th stack than just crit/overrun than not. Your damage will pretty much be…
I'm not convinced this is an issue now that dodge has been moved to server side. Previously, they really did dodge after LB hit and avoided any dmg. I think they just dodged at the same time you attacked, which is intended (but frustrating since CWs has so many dodges).
I fail to see how this would be opening another layer of hell even if people managed to run to a fireplace. Also, good to know that me playing this particular genre is a waste of time.
For me at least it's because there's nothing really that stands out. Your bleed damage seems good. Yes, rogue AP gain is the slowest ever. I'm running 4/4 swash so I get around 3k recovery which helps a bit. There is a possibility to run BaS but I'd say it's highly specialized use atm. With Metzli's build I'd say you have…
I don't agree. People already run to any possible fireplace already, having a mount is not going to help with that, not to mention you would most certainly get dismounted.
I know what you ment with truedamage, I gave a bad example. I haven't tested the latest version on dummies but I've used it on bosses and it goes a bit crazy sometimes. Like the player shown damage is lower than the truedamage. Unless the boss suddently used a dmg reduction ability I don't know how that's possible. I could…
As cool as that would be it would probably devalue the current mounts in the game bought with zen, so it's not going to happen. That's why I thought my suggestion was perfect. It increases the usefulness and value of mounts, making people more tempted to buy (gotta see it from their point of view).
It's still no quite right. I've had instances where for example: The true damage is 4600. Resistance is 0. Player shown damage is 4600. It's a crit. Obviously the true damage can't be 4600 if it shows a 4600 crit on screen.
Defense or HP. It's mostly personal preference, though I believe HP gives a bit more effective HP than defense. It's all about surviving those big hits. Life leach is nice to keep you up, and you usually have some on gear, but it won't help you survive the initial hit. Deflection is chance = unreliable.
Domination works exactly like similary styled "area point capture" pvp in other games do, there is no need to change anything. Rogues already lose in a 1v1 vs equally skilled CW or GF, they have class advanage that can't be overcome with skill alone. There is no need to nerf their 1v1. If open battleground pvp is released…
In case you aren't lying (I have a hard time believing that number frankly), can you disclose exactly how you did it? And do you usually get that much or was it a fluke?
Do you usually do that much bleed damage? I did exactly as you for some time on dummies and the highest I got was 12k, usually in the area of 8k. My gear is great. Doing 22k without debuffs is kind of insane, if you're able to do it semi-reliably on bosses.
TrueDmg doesn't change after hitting 10 stacks, which is how it's suppose to be. Damage (player shown damage) is also stuck however. I'm guessing it's directly related to Res being stuck too. Example: Stacking to 10 stacks. Reaching 8600 dmg per tick. Use a Wicked Reminder, now the damage shows 8900 on screen. The…
Countdown works in the latest version (v0.14), but now the resistance and the player shown damage is not updated once it reaches 10 stacks, which kind of defeats the purpose of it.
