I play a few different toons and I can solo everything non-dungeon. However, especially on my DC or GF, it takes a while and new mobs can spawn nearby, so I am never upset when someone jumps in on my fight, it speeds it up a lot. The nice thing in this game is that 2 non-partied players can both get loots off the same mob,…
They are listed at that price, that doesn't mean they are selling. Maybe a few are, but a lot of them are just taking up space and will be re-listed over and over. Also at 800k AD, that would be about the same price (2000 Zen or $20 US) as most of the similar mounts in the Zen store. So a lot of those mounts will never…
I simply suck at pvp, and when on my rogue I often just run towards 2 and start attacking, the same as most casuals, and since we all know TR is the best at pvp, some of these aren't really bots, just crappy players trying to get their daily pvp out of the way. Hope I don't get banned just for being bad and not caring if I…
Funny, since I have started playing this game (day it went open beta) I have spent $10 on a bag, the rest I farmed. This game is completely FTP, so any money you spent was on you, not because they twisted your arm, not because of a sub fee, but because you want an easy way to get stuff. PvP is not a focus of this game,…
The reason to post on games you have tried and didn't like is to share the reason you didn't like with developers, since this is the quickest way to send them messages, we know they read these, though they rarely post. As long as the reason is constructive, not merely insults and rants. It actually helps improve the game…
My not knowing the right path to jump over the walls to avoid the mobs or getting lost when the group runs off on the short-cut I don't know is what makes me quit doing dungeons. Also some of us like to get gold and reg loots that drop off mobs, this is how I get gold for healing potions. Skipping to the boss may save 5…
But I am still making this game my main game, It has so much promise, with a huge number of classes already developed for P&P that can be translated over, and the Forgotten Realms setting which I have been playing/reading/gaming in since the 80's. The FR is my home, and as this game grows (if we give it a chance and work…
Gotta get my angel, lol. Seriously sometimes I only log in to make sure I can pray and earn that pesky angel, I do work on my tradeskills, but rarely check more than once a day except on my main. I play for maybe an hour, just because I hate to log in just to pray (I feel guilty).
between sleep and work I miss this event way too often and it gets frustrating, especially when playing a CW and sitting in queue for half the final event to get in a group that takes another hour to finally fail on last boss. Oh and speaking of queues... if soeone declines, don't port me into a dungeon with 2 other cws…
Made a list somewhere of all the class and builds in just the players handbooks for 4th ed and got over 20, each with at least 2 builds, so they have quite a few to get out.
Yep, you take away rewards for losing side and the first thing that happens is that (outside of pvp bonus hour) when your team starts to lose, you bail and re-queue for a new battle, which then hurts winning side since rewards go down for them if they just have to ride out clock and get no points for kills and capping.
Most of the bonuses are messed up for 60s, they are all great when you are leveling, (well not the GG stuff, but that is still new). But what 60 needs 2x XP from Foundry, or the bonus from the one skirmish we can queue for? Get rid of the whole revolving bonus system and put in an effective daily system. Daily random…
because they made online tools for 4th ed, and an online tabletop, made it easier to play without having to get together physically. Thanks to internet you can play with a group from all over the world.
3rd ed was the power gamers version, 4ed is the mmo version, Next is so far a blend of 2nd and 3rd, with just a a dash of 4th, trying to make it more a tabletop game again, you can get the playtest kit free online.
Not every boss needs to drop something for each class, so you have to kill several bosses to get your gear, and you have to help people kill bosses that have no reward for your class, then they help you do same. If the number of classes gets that high, they would probably create a token system, like WOW uses, you get a…
uhmm, strictly speaking the elves in this game are green elves (wood elves). Moon elves (silver) and sun elves (gold) are Eladrin in 4th ed Realms (yes, this is cannon), and that race hasn't been released yet.
Spellplague had that effect on beings and objects, changing form and race (at least one human is refered to as having changed to an elf during the spellplague event), so it would be cannon in the realms to allow race changes and reroll stats.
Need/greed Add new classes (more types of each roll), builds and paragon paths ability to set role in lfg, and require all rolls be filled (i.e. 1 tank, 1 healer, 1(2) controller, and 2(1) strikers) scaling to allow for larger or smaller groups (4 to 6 based on a selection made when queuing) in delves more deities,…
Not really a game-breaking exploit, you still have to kill all the mobs and bosses to get to chest, only thing this allows is a chance to start a 2nd dungeon for a shot at the chest, if you did this on cloak tower, you could conceivably get 3 shots at the chest, if you do it fast enough on 2nd run
The effects cascade, people bought stuff like cats dirt cheap, even knowing that they were benefiting from the exploit, and hoping that when all that extra AD was gone/taken, the stuff they picked up for a steal, i.e. cats, would soon be worth a fortune. Also many people got ad from legitimate sales to people who exploited…
server wipe would help me, lol, need to respec my CW anyway, and I would get back the Zen I bought and wasted on opening chests, maybe buy a pack or two to make releveling easier. So bring on the wipe, I will be back tomorrow, because when they get this game fully off the ground, it is gonna rock!
