  • Personally I find that forming a group and THEN queuing for a skirmish or dungeon tends to work better. You don't have to wait for the system to try to find what it thinks are balanced party members, and you control who is or is not in your group
  • Bingo! Someone get this man a prize! All of you talk about what you NEED, but in reality you dont know the difference between need and greed (which is blatantly apparent from the mass whining going on here). You 'need' oxygen, you 'want' in-game items. Just do what I do, I am usually the party leader and I will instantly…
  • I think that they should not be taking money while the game is in the beta stage, but seriously...spending upwards of $200 on a game that is still in development? I can't say I feel sorry for those people. I wouldn't mind spending the money, but I will wait until the game is out of the beta stage to see if I like the…
  • Agree on almost all points, except respec. I think respec 'should' be expensive. We don't want another flower mmo like wow do we? ;) Being able to respec almost for free makes it so that you can just throw points wherever you want with no thought, because you can fix it for free later.
  • bahahahaha kids these days. I see these same posts for almost every new game out there. This game is still in beta, any of you who did not expect issues when you signed up should go look up the definition of Beta.
  • Exactly! :)
  • But your fair tokens are not legal tender. Big difference between dollars or euros and fair tokens.
  • What??? It has nothing to do with being unable to issue currency, since they would not be 'issuing' anything :S It's a well known marketing ploy that people tend to spend more if the "money" or in-game currency is not associated with a direct currency (ie: using zen instead of dollars). Many companies do this...Zen points,…
  • I agree completely, although as the second poster pointed out, it is not likely to change. I am amazed that the devs haven't included a default sales channel...maybe they will put one in at some point.
  • Im sure it will take some time for the econ to stabilize. This is really not unusual for a new game...I remember the same 'sky is falling' doomsday predictions when Diablo 3 was released.
  • No apology necessary. The fact that you 'feel' the items you purchased were 'digital junk' doesn't change anything. You purchased a founders pack, not the right to play NW. The fact that anyone can play for free just makes my point that much more obvious. You did not pay to play and no argument or words can change that…
  • This entire thread is too funny, no wonder a lot of game companies do not like to have open betas. You did NOT pay to beta test. You paid for virtual items and or services within a beta (or not) environment. Fact is, anyone can play the game (be it beta or not) for free. You can say you 'paid to play' all you like, but it…
  • This ^ ...I will never understand some people's children +1
  • I agree, some of the mounts would cost over $30....seriously? That's incredibly steep for a mount. On the other hand, I feel that $5 for two character slots is very reasonable. I've already purchased 2, with plans on possibly buying more.
  • I was wondering about this when I saw this game was a F2P model. I have no problem with F2P as long as it isn't crippled (like Dungeons and Dragons Online is). From what I am reading tho, this cash store sounds very much like the cash store in GW2 where most of the items are cosmetic, or give little advantage (such as exp…
