< Not necessarily. I have (had, ran out a few days ago) rank 5 VIP. On only one occasion have I earned enuff AD from selling lockbox drops to afford the next months VIP. I usually end up with 400 - 500 zen. Halfway there, but still it's a lot of grind to make up the difference.

Except for the feet & rings, which I gather drop from fishing... the prices are not much better on AH. 40k - 100k for non feet pieces. The vendor sells from 43k- 57k.

You don't have to do anything to use it, deflection is applied automatically when you are attacked.

I had this problem @ first. You have to hold the buttons, not tap them.

Do your daily invokes as often as you can. Even if you only invoke 1time per day, every 11 days you buy a chest with a chance of a coalescent ward. Save your chests for 2x refinement events if you can. Some players save up & buy stacks of preservation wards to invoke. It CAN help if you are RNG lucky. Or it can be a waste…

Ugh... CW's dodge is the suck, at least for me. When my toon dodges, I pause for 1/2 a second at he end of the teleport. This has gotten me killed so many times.

If those are the standards, I haven't had a "good game" since lvl 41. That's when I gave up daily PvP attempts, after 6 weeks without earning any rewards. Not without a win, but because we were unable to accumulate the 600 points necessary to earn ANY rewards.

Ugh... I would NOT describe the CW's as great dodgers. Maybe it's just me being laaag-tastic, but my CW ends up pausing for ~0.5 sec @ the end of teleport. Queue the death knell.

I think the point was that since VIP'ers pay no fee to post an item on AH, they can afford to throw it up for a huge cost. They don't have to eat a 5k - 10k AD posting fee if it doesn't sell.

Yes, that is what I was asking. Several posters have mentioned changing PvP rewards so that only the winning team benefits. This would absolutely kill PvP. If Lvling players, or even lvl 70's that have not yet achieved BiS, cannot get glory rewards, what is the point of PvP? No win = no rewards = no progress. Why play if…

The difference is, when I buy a bag... the bag shows up in my mailbox. This is not always the case with PvP rewards. How many runs am I supposed to do every day to get that reward?

Let's be honest... the pug players don't care about rings/drains. In the end it doesn't matter the least bit if I die from 1hit with full AP or without. The only exception is the ambush rings which... if you are lucky... can keep you from getting 1-shot long enuff to cap for points. Before you get 1-shot while running away.

you can only grind for a couple hours on Saturday afternoons... I still got plenty of time for whining :smile: There is a "i need banner" channel... you can sit & talk with up to a dozen ppl also trying to run the event while your not queueing for SH seige
