Once you hit level 60, the only real motivation to keep playing is to earn all these cool items, companions, mounts, etc. But each every patch seems to put more restrictions on ways for players to earn AD. The way these games should work is that you should be able to pay for the convenience of skipping gameplay (i.e.…
I've just taken LA out my rotation. Without the high damage, the skill offers nothing. Dailies are important, especially for rogues who generate AP so slowly. It's effectively useless, at least for how I play. Shocking Execution and Bloodbath are my go-to abilities now, even though neither of them really compare to the old…
They are making it so you can't make gold for PvP items bought through glory, but also making equipment BoP so you can't sell it for AD either. So... What the hell is the point of glory? Or PvP at all? Are we seriously expected to do an activity in an MMO with no reward incentive? Yeah, this is sure to be a long-lasting…
I'm confused. Did Lurker's Assault grant stealth? Does Duellist's Fury? No? Wait, what about the abilities that ACTUALLY allow perma-stealth? You know Shadow Strike and Bait and Switch? Were they changed at all? No? Sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. You'll fit in well around here.
The point of playing PvP used to be making AD. You could sell PvP gear and Dancing Blades on AH for good profits. And it actually required playing tons of PvP, not just playing four games and losing intentionally like people do for the Daily. Now there is no point. So yeah, whatever. I'll do the Daily and then...well,…
So this is it, right? After this nerf, people will finally stop complaining about rogues? This the end? After the first nerf, I asked the same thing. Everyone said yes. And now here we are. So this is it, right? You're done with nerfing my class? Or should I just assume this will happen every few months and play some other…
They didn't do anything to perma-stealth builds. Bait and Switch and Shadow Strike were untouched. You have clearly never played a rogue and have no idea what you're talking about.
They won't nerf anything. Those useless abilities will continue to be disregarded by all rogue builds, and the ones that were necessary will now be rendered less effective. I expect this to happen for two more patches at least. Then another class will become the whipping boy.
He knows it's a "bad way to go about it" and is simply trying to start arguments. Notice he doesn't respond to points anyone makes. He doesn't present arguments of his own or refute those of others. He just goes "QQ. Rogue tears. Learn to play. HAHA". Classic troll who would be gone on a decent forum. Even his name makes…
Holy HAMSTER. Ha ha ha ha! Wow. So glad I switched to GWF. Clearly rogues are going to keep getting nerfed every update. I look forward to next update where you give them fluffy bunnies instead of daggers. Seriously though, people should just switch to GWF. We don't get nerfed and are insanely strong. With the right…
Yeah, let's reduce the amount of glory and then make it useless to actually do anything with it. Brilliant design. This game is so frustrating. It's like they created an MMO that's actually fun to play, but designed everything in it for the sole purpose of crippling the in-game economy and forcing you to spend cash. Which…
It's messed up. Why am I helping these pirates? Why am I killing the indigenous population of this island for this group of heartless brigands? Why do they make me collect the teeth of the innocent creatures I killed, in order to hang up as a warning? I'm supposed to be a hero.
I think this thread exists because rogues are the single-target DPS class in the game, and everyone wants to be a single-target DPS striker regardless of whether their class is good at it or not.
It's a shame you just gave up playing GF without ever learning how to play it. They are really good in PvP. As for your question, neither one has enough Armor Pen. I don't personally see the point in having all this power, but that's just me.
MMOs are about gear. If you don't like it, you should find another genre. Gear isn't going to suddenly become a non-factor in PvP, no matter how much you beg for it to be.
No longer being able to teleport into people bases essentially means that people who spawn their own base but aren't afk no longer have to worry about retribution for wasting everyone's time. Woohoo!
They can't give a chest at the end of every dungeon, but perhaps maybe a decent amount of AD for completing dungeons would make it more rewarding for the players. It's something that bots can't exploit, at least.
