Prices do need to come down indeed. Its simple physiology: people will buy more if they dont feel they are paying 'too much', and right now many people clearly feel they would need to pay too much.
They already nerfed Rogue thanks to u whiners, now you want even further nerfing?!!!!! For ****** sake, the Rogue ISNT supposed to be a weak little coward. We're supposed to be single-target heavy-hitters, not some halfbaked GWF.
Believe me, if you aren't careful, you will be 2-shotted to death. The Trickster Rogue can do amazing DPS, with the trade-off being survivability. Without a compagnion you really have to be very careful and quick. I think it is a good deal. A good fighter should be able to outlast a rogue, that's how it is supposed to…
the moonstone mask is a bar in Neverwinter, it is located on a 'floating' piece of rock. In the west part of neverwinter there is a portal that can take you to the Moonstone Mask.
I did need some time to get the feel of the rogue, and some more skills, but i managed to develop a tactic that works for me without having to spam potions too much. I do have some trouble with the dodging though, since you need to press w and shift at the same time and i somehow seem to have trouble with that :P
I did not notice problems with my Nvidia gt 540m, which is not exactly top of the line. No fans going at full speed just to keep my laptop cool, but i haven't played with the graphics settings yet, i just used the recommended preset. If i can get into Beta 3 i will try and see if i can get my laptop howling.
I pretty much agree with kfmc. The lack of close-up AoE spells means that at close combat, the Wizard is poorly equipped to fight, especially against mobs of weaker enemies. With a boss, i can teleport a good distance away and freeze him, but as i can only target one mob at a time, mobs are much more difficult to deal with…
I agree. The combat itself is good, but for the love of Selune, change those animations. A spell-casting wizard should not look like a high hippie with a peace-sign and wooden legs.
I think i remember someone saying that the client would be made usable in WINE, is this true? Also, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
I took some time to re-think my initial response when i heard the Drow were getting delayed, and i think i'm going to change plans: Instead of playing a half-elf and a drow at launch, i will start with a half-elf and make a drow when they become avaiable. I will still be more wary of spending cash on this game, though,…
This would be an acceptable compromise for me, as i think pwe is indeed unlikely to turn around again. still doesn't change the fact they lied, but it would restore some of my lost trust in this game. Even a little bit of honey would be better than a jar full of bile.
For some reason, they backpedaled on their word , just to try and get more $200 pack buyers who don't want to wait more than 2 months for the drow. I won't give Cryptic any money now, as my willingness to spend money on this game and play it, has dropped significantly. I thought about getting the $60 pack, but now i'm glad…
please do not count me in this contest anymore. the ninja editing of the faq and the 60-day period in which the normal drow won't be avaible to players have left a very sour taste in my mouth, and therefore i will re-avaluate my standing on this game.
1. In two sentences max, what do you think about the drow 60 day exclusivity? I think it is a unnecessary move that shows disregard to normal drow players, and is an insult to the D&D lore. 2.(a) Have you bought a founder's pack? If so Which one/ones? no 2.(b)Are you going buy a founder's pack? If so which one/ones? no…
After at least 60 days? What does that mean? Is it 60, or more? I really need clarity soon, as i was first under the impression the regular Drow would be in at lauch, with the Menzoberranzan skins exclusive, and now the regular drow have been pulled from launch. I don't mind the Menzoberranzan items being exclusive, but i…
I'm really bummed about this too, i had hoped to play a drow too. Not a very smart move on Cryptic's part, as my willingness to buy stuff from the Zen-Store has now dropped quite a bit...I guess i will just start with a half-Elf then and after 60 days i can play as a drow. I would be willing to pay 10 Euros or so to unlock…
