Runes of Magic has a system like that. The Talent Points. Runes of Magic is a kind of an unbalanced game though... with lots of bugs and a demented XP system. Liked the TP points though. :)

I agree! In Runes of Magic, crafting was mind-numbingly dull. So I hardly did it. In this game though, like you said, we can craft and play. Which is really, really nice. Hey, first the knife-throwing ability is very rogue-like. I saw an NPC in the Tower District Tavern (the half-orc-woman behind the bar) ask, "Do you know Drizzt?" Then, literally half a second later, it disconnected... playtime over... :(
