No, I was having them BOTH despawn in the middle of the fight. Tough to kill one when it's vanished. In point of fact, when it finally worked for me, I killed the mage first. -Lens

Finally after 6 or 8 tries, Karzov's friends didn't despawn, although Zoey did almost immediately. Still very sub-optimal. -Lens

Couple days later and still the same thing... A progress-blocking bug like this is a game-killer for a lot of people. They'll play to this point, get stuck, go play something else and never come back. Even if it's just a relatively small number of people, that's not good for the health of the game.
