I also have this issue. My CW at the invoking area logs in fine, my GF in the auction area cannot load. I moved my wizard to the auction area and relogged, but was able to do so just fine. So, there's something wrong with the character. Common trend: All of the people in this thread with problems are having them with…
Yes, and the manuals were in-game and working fine during closed beta. The manuals will magically appear when PW's data mining indicates that the Zen companion market has dried up.
I don't know about gold, but you can trade AD by putting your AD up on the Zen exchange (for 50 AD each), then removing the bid. It'll go into your "unclaimed" AD which can be claimed on any character on your account.
Yes, you could do exactly this. And there are groups that do this on both CO and STO. The developers have never even acknowledged this issue in any of their games, so it's safe to say that it is working as intended.
Getting rid of the AFK players is a necessity, but you'll never see a penalty for losing in any "casual" PvP system, which is exactly what all of Cryptic's games have. If you want the losers to lose stuff, or gain exactly zero, you need to have a system where gear and power imbalances don't result in newbies getting…
Pets don't go to 60. The OP is asking where to farm XP for companions after his character has reached 60, to which the answer is "do foundry quests." As for getting companions to rank 30, which is the true maximum, you'll have to wait. Cryptic has to "fix" the upgrade books. Which were working just fine in closed beta,…
They'll implement open-world PvP just as soon as they achieve some semblance of balance in the PvP we already have. (that is my very long-winded way of saying "never")
If it was intended for you to be able to get into the enemy's spawn point, you wouldn't have to teleport/lunge/etc. to get there. There is no content anywhere in the game which requires this type of acrobatics, so I don't see why it would be intended here.
The Angel isn't even fully in-game. In the Foundry, you can find the models and animations for all of the companions, except the Angel who only has the animation available.
People might want to be careful before blowing loads of AD on Tenebrous enchantments. The fact that it's more like a Enhancement-slot rune (in its effects) rather than a normal "ranked" rune means that being slottable in an Offense slot may very well be a bug. If it's a bug, you can expect it to get fixed at some point,…
You can't trade the currencies themselves, but a guy with AD/Glory to burn can offer to trade the AD/Glory-bought item of your choice in return for whatever it is he's selling it for.
Alas, this was proposed many times in CoH, and it was never done. The developers basically turned a blind eye to it after awhile, only adding tiny patches occasionally to nail down the worst of the exploiting. Cryptic/PW, on the other hand, is not going to stand for this type of farming. Not only can one make "artistic"…
NW is about as complete and bug-free in "open beta" as STO and CO were at launch. Calling a game that has an open cash shop and is being thoroughly marketed a "beta" is a CYA-move and nothing else.
Only Celestial coins will disappear, and you can only have up to 7 of those at a time. Ardent coins (where the top prize requires 360 of them) will stay until spent.
